While most teams get better and better as the season progresses, it always seems like Stanford gets worse as the season moves along.
IMHO - If Stanford played Cal in November or early December Cal would have lost by 25 or more.
Stanford beat Cal by 15 in early February.
Fast forward ~5 weeks from that actual game in Berkeley, and it looks like Stanford will be rather lucky to win by even a point.
Stanford will win by 10+. This Kal team is not any good offensively, and Stanford will get better at layups.

I wish I agreed with Needle too.
Though for the record a tournament worthy team should beat the 11 seed from the Pac-12 by far more than 10 points. So even Needle's rather optimistic outlook would imply a team that is quite a bit away from being tournament worthy.

Can't agree with Needle neither... We'll win by 3 :)

O'Connell is keeping us in this. We trail by 6 at the half.

Weenies shooting 56% so far. That will go down in the second half, and we'll be able to catch up and pass them. They are not a good team... But they also weren't a good team last year, and we know what happened then.

Daejon's first half: straight zero's on the box score. 0 for 2 from the field, neither hit the rim. Not a single point, rebound, assist, steal, nothing. If he's not going to try, he should be benched. Wills has 1 point and 1 steal. Should they play in the second half? Is there any chance they will start to put it together? I'm guessing this is all part of the unknown story.

Jones and Delaire can knock down 3s if we free them up. It doesn't look like we can beat them in the paint tonight.

Davis didn't look to pass the ball. He just tried to go 1 on 5 and drive to the hoop. His two layups didn't draw iron. Sit him IMO.
Right on cue, the first two shots in the 2nd half were missed 3s by Jones and Delair.

Got it to within 3 points. Let's tie the game at the under 12 timeout.

Wills is doing a great job defending Bradley. We've got to start hitting our layups.
We need ODS to step up and take charge.

They are making last second shots... They keep making them... Probably their best shooting game of the year. Still within striking distance. They need a cold streak while we get a little luck on our own shots.

I've got a feeling that the ZW death in the family excuse is a cover story.

Yep. There is a lot of weird going on with this team.
We cut the lead to 1 and then missed a layup. Down by 3 with Delaire going to the line to shoot 2.

Does anyone believe the party line on ZW for even one second? I think he quit
Poor Oscar is playing on one leg. Gutting it out as best he can in what may be his last game. Even if we somehow pull this off, I'm not sure he plays tomorrow night.
Some of these guys are playing like they WANT Haase to get fired.

Even if we could have beat this #11 seed, we would have been crushed by Colorado . . . again.

Unfortunately, I believe you're right Marty. If we can't beat a sucky team like kal, may as well call it a season.
