Interesting. They have the Sparks picking Kiana and Carrington. If it happens, and they make the team, the Sparks will be Cardinal heavy. This doesn't include them bringing back Karlie.

So that analyst has us beating:
Georgia (over Louisville)
South Carolina (over Maryland)
Baylor (over UConn)
While I am pleased Matt Ward picks us to win it all, I am nervous about the particular path. I really think we would have an easier time with UConn than Baylor, and the idea of Carrington being out on the floor giving away all our plays and forcing us to redo all our signals makes me queasy.
I know Maryland has a highly regarded offense, but Aliyah Boston is a match up problem I think.

Creme - "Mechelle touched on so many of the reasons -- the depth, the chemistry, the versatility of talent, the coach -- and they all factor into why I picked Stanford. But the overriding characteristic I keep going back to is that the Cardinal still have more ways to win a basketball game than anyone else in the field."

If I were a betting man, I would pick Stanford over any other team, but I'd pick "the field" over Stanford. Lots of ways to get tripped up.

This is all going very badly for their motivation.
