Tough crowd.  I don't consider myself a nabob generally, but objectively, I don't see the personnel there to have a defense capable of stopping period.  That being said, I'm old enough to remember when Longwinded went through every member of the team in 1999 and pointed out each of their deficiencies, a team which subsequently went to the Rose Bowl.  So, I hope I am wrong here.

I'm in here with StanfordIndy.  7 wins.
McKee is a redshirt and age 22 -- How was Andrew Luck his first year... with LESS talent to throw to?! 
We are still loaded at WR, despite losses. 
Yurosek will surprise at TE.  
Luck in 2009 threw 56% for 2585y and just 13 TDs with 4 INTs.   McKee can match that. 

The O-Line can pass block fine.  
And McKee has three legit 4-star RBs to handoff to. 
Mix in Patu like the off-speed pitch. 

At Spring Game, the Front 7 actually looked aggressive and quick. We go 7 or 8 deep at LB with solid talent.  
CBs are OK, but little depth. 
At Safety, below average, but not terrible. 
So, if Defense can generate TOs with hits or hurries, we win.  

A favorable HOME schedule is worth TWO wins, I think.  So, 7 wins gets us a bowl.  
Build Back Bolder.  And Kal still sucks; we keep the Axe by a FG.

Something like "He's not young, he's just bad".
I remember the guy in 1998. He had a lesser opinion of TW than some of our current posters have of Shaw, if that is possible.
I accused him once of looking at things from a glass is half empty perspective. His reply? "The glass isn't half empty; it's totally empty".
Every once in a while I do wonder what ever happened to him.

LW always loved to be the contrarian, so I can't help wondering if he came over here whether he might be a little bit positive on the season.

It was an interesting dichotomy.
GR thought TW walked on water.
LW had absolutely no use for him (although I think he mellowed a little after the Rose Bowl).
