This year has been horrible for the conference, and I really doubt that teams like UW and SC will be able to hire anyone close to a “big name.”
This is also something to keep in mind for those who want to fire Shaw.

Utah is the the Pac-12 Championship game. Oregon has to beat Oregon State next week to lock up the North slot.

Plus a thousand. Ducks', and Huskies' fans, both insufferable. Good for Utah and I sure hope the Ducks don't turn things around in the conf. title game.

In that Oregon game, Oregon has one delay of game and just had to take its second time out to avoid a DoG.

Utah with a 78-yard punt return for a TD as the first half clock expires and it is 28-0. PAC-12 will go playoff-less yet another year.

Actually, Ducks have to win to win the North. If Beavs win and Cougs lose, Oregon State
goes to Las Vegas.

It must be hard for their fans to find a way to blame that large of a loss solely on the refs. Maybe the other kid was bigger and the sun was in their eyes.

Chip Kelly, he was living in Florida between 49ers and ucla jobs. Then there is Kiffin, he was in Florida before Mississippi. Both will be in need of a new starting qb.

Unbelievable. Shaw has Stanford playing at "all time program worst" level* - in an all-time $hitty Pac 12, no less - and you're admonishing fans to be cautious about wanting to replace him because other programs are looking to hire "big names." Heaven help us all. And we don't need a big name coach anyway. We need someone who has won at lower levels (i.e., has shown ability to build program and install an O/D and sense of identity). A hire like that will give something the program is sorely missing now: hope.
* The showing against Cal was ALL TIME LOW for program on many, many metrics, including yards given up/play (a first down, every time Cal snapped the ball) and yard differential/play. Staggeringly bad.

Just curious: how could we have caused Duck tears in a couple of weeks? Different sport?
If Oregon were to win this week and next, they would have a playoff-worthy resume were it not for the Stanford loss, despite the lopsided score of the Utah loss.
