Lots of line ups in there. So far, that's working.

The refs gave a 3pt shot to Tenn at 13pt but it looked like a 2 to me.

Belibi in concussion protocol.
Key for Tennessee picked up a foul & went to the bench, but Brink joined her moments later with her second foul called on an illegal screen.
Fortunately, Jones is converting baskets off her aggression bringing the ball down the court and Wilson chipped in with a timely three.

43-26 at the half. We did this without Brink. We are deep. We shot 50% vs. 24% for TN. How about 80% (8-10) from the charity stripe! 24 vs 14 on rebounds.

We lead 43-26 at the half; I like how our offense is aggressive, we are getting backdoor cuts combined with a few three pointers thrown in there. I think Jones is setting the tone with her aggression, she is attacking the basket and showing her talent, making tough baskets. I am also heartened by our depth, we doubled up on Tennessee despite both Hull sisters and Brink largely sitting on the bench for most of the quarter.
Iriafen showing some great moves around the basket, including cleaning up on a missed shot.
Defensively, we are limiting the Volunteers to under 25%, which is awesome. I doubt we can keep them to that low of a percentage in the second half, so we have to keep scoring to maintain the lead.
Another great thing is that we are outrebounding Tennessee 25-15, including only allowing 4 offensive rebounds.

Lack of a true PG has not hurt us today. Lacie, Anna, and Haley all have done a good job bringing the ball up the court.

We absolutely annihilated them in the first half. So far, this is a basketball team against some big team from the east. We are taking their physicality and just brushing it off. We are so much faster - they are really struggling to match up against us in transition.
Love our depth. Cam goes out and Fran not avail? No prob, in comes Ashten and Kiki. Lacie goes out - how about Anna with a 3, 6 boards, and an assist.
Great balanced scoring. 11 for Lexi, 10 for Haley, 8 for Hannah. 5 for 10 from 3. Haley looking like her old self. Life is good in Cardinal land.
Hope we keep it up and really put it on them. They will probably throw some sort of press on us - looking forward to watching how we do.

A 11-0 run by Tennessee to close the gap to six to start the second half. I hate that we seem to take our foot off the gas. We were sloppy with a couple needless turnovers; it seems like we thought they would just give up.
