Probably because it is not a conference game and it is committed to carrying a certain number of conference games and don’t have the budget to add another game.
?? But if they were going to carry Stanford/OSU, they had the budget for that. What are they going to sub in as a replacement? Right now, the schedule shows a re-run of that program 2020-21 they showed on Friday, followed by a "post game report." So they are saving money. It's not a budget issue -- at least it seems that way to me.

I doubt it is about budget but rather about broadcast rights. Gonzaga is not in the Pac 12 and Pac 12 networks does not routinely carry non conference games. It would need a contract of some sort with Gonzaga or Gonzaga's conference to broadcast the game, and I doubt they could arrange that fast enough. But who knows, maybe it will magically appear by 3pm!

Watching Pac 12 net right now, Colorado/UCLA -- Colorado up 49-43 at start of 4th. But reason for posting here -- it sounds as if they are saying that the Pac-12 net is now going to show the Arizona/USC game at 3 -- their sub for Stanford/OSU. But Comcast still shows Pac-12 as showing that "Our Stories" special. So not sure.
