WSU is losing the QB who torched Stanford. Good luck.

The more I think about it if Stanford were to drop football I wouldn’t care that much.

2.  "Stanford players will be coveted transfers for almost any program."  Really?  What in the world do you base that on?  And if true, isn't that MORE alarming?  That really coveted players with eligibility are bailing on Stanford University (and Stanford football) to play elsewhere?

If you're specifically discussing #2 re Jones & Peat, they both already have P5 offers and are clearly coveted. Which is obviously alarming.

If discussing #2 re all our transfers, R. Johnson and A. Fox (and possibly more) have P5 transfer offers, Heimuli is going to BYU, and even Trey LaBounty has a G5 offer (forget where). Though now we're sorta mixing #1 and #2 with the grad transfers and the definition of "almost any program" (obviously incorrect), and I can't for the life of me understand why a couple of them have the offers they do.

Transferring from Stanford to WSU is like a German SS officer stationed in Paris being sent to the Russian front.

LOL. Or Matt Lauer to a Carmelite Convent.

I would wonder how WSU has room for two unexpected guests in it's class this year. Did they not recruit/offer enough incoming freshmen? Offering two guys at the same position from the same school transferring in? Seems strange to me. I wonder if somebody got bumped or what? Naturally, we don't know if either or both guys will end up there. Peat for certain has other offers, and if he does I would expect Jones to get some as well. Anything has got to be better than the Russian Front. A nice quiet zone, like say Normandy?

I read where the Belgium Forest can be quite impressive during the Christmas Holidays!

WSU qb has transferred to Arizona, and at the condoms Dart has now declared his free agency.

Wazzu is taking Incarnate Word's QB (and their OC) who will be their starter. Tore up FCS.

Most non-academically-restrictive schools will gladly push out a steak-eater for a proven transfer.

Of course. They will both have a fair amount. Do we really need to post every one? I don't see Ryan Johnson or Andres Fox's offer threads (nor do I believe they should exist).

RE: N. Peat to the portal - Phogge - 01-13-2022

I can't remember Johnson ever making a big play. I thought Fox was going to be very good. So it goes as Linda Ellerbee would say.

RE: N. Peat to the portal - Jamesy - 01-18-2022

Confirmed to Missouri.

RE: N. Peat to the portal - Papa John - 01-18-2022

Good for Peat. He's back home in Columbia, MO, with a chance to start for his hometown university's football team. And Mizzou is a member of the Association of American Universities.

Mizzou has struggled in the SEC since Gary Pinkel left, but that will happen when your division foes are Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina, Florida and Vanderbilt (OK, not so much Vandy).

In any case, I wish Peat success.

Updating chart...

I hope he finds what he's looking for at Mizzou
