They are announcing that they have to administer another test (presumably on a WSU player) and are delaying another 30 minutes.
This is BS. WSU should be required to start the game with the players they have available. If a player needs another test, he should stay in the locker room until he is cleared to play. If they don't have enough players to start the game, they should forfeit.

Now we know why the game was scheduled at 2pm... So it can start at 7:30pm with all the testing being done.

It would be tragic to make the trip out to the frigid tundra of the Palouse, get the team suited and warmed up, and then have to get back on the bus with nothing to show for it.
Players now returning to the locker room. Crap on a stick!!
Yeah, I want a depleted WSU roster, but one that is still able to play.
But I have to guess that this inconclusive result is rather critical to getting this game played.

Moss has played a total of 5 minutes in 2 games now. I've seen him suited up on the bunch for most games this season.
There was talk this summer of allowing redshirt basketball players to appear in a few games, but I don't think they've finalized that rule yet (unlike in football which has).

Amen. We should get some sort of benefit from this inconvenience.

I presume they would be required to do so if they could be. Which means they might only have 6 players available and are hoping to clear one more?
Alternatively, perhaps they have enough players but have already had one positive test which, if confirmed, would require the isolation of numerous other players. This might also explain why the WSU players returned to the locker room.
Personally, I am not optimistic that this game gets played. Can't see why there would be such a delay unless the whole game hung in the balanced of the test. And there aren't too many scenarios where that would be true, and most of them aren't good.

I'm pretty sure I saw more than 6 WSU players warming up. I guess if they were precluded from playing due to contact tracing rules it would spell the doom of this game.
I still think that at some point in time, even if a game is cancelled due to Covid, the team ready to play should get the win. That point in time would surely be set prior to the team being on the court and warmed up.
UPDATE: Game starts in 7 minutes. Players back on the court. Yippee!

As opposed to you all I would rather play against the best team that the opponent can muster. If you want to play against cripples go to D2. I think I pitched better against teams that were better. However there was Frank Duffy and No. 1 Stanford..........................

Not a great start. We commit 5 fouls and 5 turnovers before we score our first point. Ouch.

What a dud of a first half. We trail by 9 after a Spencer 3-pointer to end the half. So inconsistent from one game to another.

Terrible half, badly coached. Why is Ingram guarding Flowers? Our offensive scheme is mainly to have big guys drive into double teams and put up bad shots Lucky to not be down 20.

The feared letdown has reared its ugly head. Stanford with 8 TOs in the first half and some defensive lapses. Also being outrebounded and, in general, outplayed. Delaire and Ingram have not been the factors we need them to be.
WSU up 35-26.

In recent games, someone always stepped up—Ingram, Jones, Delaire… that needs to happen now with us down only 4.

Different second half. We're up 47-42. Can we keep it going and get the win?
We've opened up a 10 point lead 52-42 at the under 8 timeout. Need to keep it up.

We've increased the lead to 14, 57-43, at the under 4 timeout. Unless something drastic happens, we're getting a win in Pullman.
