I think autocorrect for our rivals (Cal, USC, and Notre Dame) was removed by popular demand. I think the only two words that continue to be taboo (other than swear words) are h.uge and H.eisman.
Of course it is childish. But then again, I've seen grown men and women on this board have a full on tantrum over a loss.

I don’t think it’s childish. It’s quirky, and I like it.

I think it's both childish and quirky, and I like it. The inability to use a word or two should not enrage people. Get a thesaurus and relax, Francis.
Cheers,

. . . .and it remains hugely childish.
It’s so beneath me.
Pardon me. Would you have any Grey Poupon?
LOL
Do you really think the auto replace is funny? Seriously? Love to see a poll. Oh wait. That was tried and IIRC the thread was locked or deleted.
Can't we let Yvonne keep her little joke, old as it may be, in return for running this board for us?

I have never been much of a fan of the auto replace. What was once mildly amusing has become mildly annoying. I do agree if the people who run this board for free like it, let it stay.

I find it annoying. But I also greatly appreciate what the Admins do. So, if it must stay. So be it.

The auto-replace has been a marker of board history and tribal remembrance. It's a way to recognize the people here who have been to the games and said the things about Stanford athletics here. The only downside is that it wreaks havoc with some URLs lol.
