the quality of basketball in the Pac12 has lessened. Some may be due to injuries, and coaching, but these games are very hard to watch (as mentioned above).

I hope our shooters have gotten a lot of practice in at this arena. A big part of the ugliness of AZ/CO was horrendous 3-point shooting, especially by AZ.

We lead 16-2 after one quarter against Oregon State; on offense, we are being propelled by our hot three-point shooting (4/7) with a couple by Wilson. We are shooting better from long range (57%) than from short range (22%).

Fortunately, the Beavers offense is sputtering. They are 1/10 from the field with only two points the entire quarter. Rueck took out 4 of his 5 starters midway through and though Mitrovic is having an effect defensively, blocking Belibi's shot, their offense hasn't improved.

We lead 27-18 at the half as we continued to struggle shooting inside the arc. Wilson saved us with five straight points late in the second quarter to stem the bleeding after Oregon State pulled within seven.

We have made more three pointers (6) than two-pointers (4) in the game. We are 6/10 (60%) from long range, but an icy 4/19 (21%) from closer in; we are also 1/4 from the FT line.

Jones is missing shots she would normally make as she is only 1/8.

Defensively, we've already forced the Beavers into three shot clock violations and TVO is 1/6, but Codding (3/5) and Mack (2/5 including a deep three pointer at the halftime buzzer) is keeping them in the game.

Stanford 6-11 from 3 and 4-19 from 2. Stanford has got to start making mid-range jumpers. They are available. OSU's size limits Stanford's inside game.

Stanford 27 OSU 18 at the half.

Well, our offense is not clicking, but thank goodness we are hitting some threes.  Everything else works better when the long range shooting opens up the floor.  Anna Wilson was fantastic in the first half.  I'd really like to see Jones start to make a few shots in the second.

Looking back to the 2 previous games vs OSU, halftime lead was 12 at Maples, 9 in Corvallis.

We lead 47-31 heading into the final 10 minutes of regulation as Jones picked up her game, going 5/7 in the third quarter after starting 1/8. Brink made her second three-pointer of the game and Jump also made a timely three too. It was Haley, however, who rose up to the occasion as Codding and Mack continued their hot shooting to keep the Beavers within striking range.

We are still shooting better from long range (53%) than short range (31%), but we are improving.

Wilson is playing fantastically on both ends of the floor; she is holding TVO to 2/12 shooting while chipping in 11 points herself.

Only 3 turnovers.  That must be the lowest of the season.  

Holding OSC to 44 points is excellent.  

We ended up shooting 37.7/44.4/37.5.  Terrible FT shooting at 3-8.
