I'm positively impressed with the coverage the Chron is giving women's basketball this year, much more than in years past. They  give the most to Stanford, but they've also had articles about Cal, St Mary's, Santa Clara, and SJ State. Interesting given how much the paper has scaled back on so many things.

The Chron hired a new reporter, Marisa Ingemi, whose beat is women’s sports generally.
