Well, we weathered the storm of having 5 turnovers before we scored a basket. We tied it up at 6 apiece a little more than half way through the first quarter. Gotta protect the ball and run our offense.
Haley with 2 fouls in the first two minutes, both of which were total BS.
Why is Haley bringing the ball up the court when Lepolo is on the court?

I wonder why Cameron only played 6 minutes of the first Q when she has no fouls. Kiki played 9. Haley played 9 and had 2 fouls in the first 2 minutes.

We’re out-shooting them, out-rebounding them, and leading in assists. If not for those early turnovers we could be up big. Hopefully we’ve settled down enough to keep/build on the lead.

Jones is playing like an All-American today. She is on track for a triple double.
After starting 0-6, we have a 14 point lead at the half. Defense has been the key. AZ has had to resort to difficult shots, only making 32% of them. We are out rebounding them 26-17. We have 10 offensive rebounds on 31 shots.

I don't like us having only scored 17 points in the 2nd quarter, but we held AZ to 7 points.
AZ has 3 players with 2 fouls, including Reese, Pueyo, and Gilbert. Our only player with 2 fouls is Jones. Brink has zero!

The best assists by Jones are the kick outs to Jump. Let's hope for more of those.

The game is more or less as advertised. Arizona is holding Stanford to 39% shooting (23% from three point range), but Stanford is out rebounding Arizona 28-17.

Lepolo is passing a major test with flying colors. The fact that she can hold her own against this AZ defense bodes very well for our chances in the NCAA tourney.

We're sucking at free throws . . . again. 59.6% for the game and 46.7 in the 2nd half.
Still, I'd rather be us. We lead by 16 with :38 to play in the 3rd.
