Is 2024 Zoe Prystajko (current GPA 4.6) out of Huntington Beach still committed to Stanford despite conference realignment? Our pitching roster is not that deep this season, Canady, Krause, and maybe Houston (unproven at D1 level).

Conference realignment doesn’t seem to be affecting WVB recruiting why softball.

Thanks Bob! Seems like a strong class with the #5 and #6 ranked players. Excited to see what Zoe Prystajko pitch, a lefty pitcher. Should be fun

IMO Zoe Prystajko is the big get for fall 2024. I'm also excited to see what she can do. Some more time in the weight room and I expect she will become even more formidable.
Interested about Houston for this season. The team will need her in the starting rotation.

Great bbq and practice today Big news Infielder Emily Jones is in CF and made a spectacular running diving catch.
The softball stadium will be upgraded after the season with locker rooms study areas under the berm. Concession close by and the big news a second deck will be added. Attendance is way up with sell outs thus expand the seating.

First 15 games on the road. Fortunately they are all in warm weather locations.
What position will Kern play? She will displace someone from that position.

No on displace. Kern at 2nd. Malher who was at 2nd last season was already moving to SS to replace Young who graduated. Infield could be 2 Frosh and 2 Sophs.
Can’t wait to see the lineup Feb 8 first game. Bet with 22 players there will be some players in and out.
4 pitchers with Chung. Koch healthy after her bad slide and knee injury last season. She has power. Alister said more power this season. Of course Kern is a brobdingnagian power hitter

The season starts Thursday at San Diego playing 5 games in a tournament
Hope weather gets back to normal.
The following week another 5 games tournament in Clearwater and some of the games on Espnu

Now picked to win the Pac 12 for first time ever, and ranked #2. Can't hurt recruiting. Looking forward to see how Kern does. Hit almost as many HR's as our team did last year, and had something like 25 more RBI than any player on our roster. Can now be more than just a team carried by its fielding and pitching.

So far so good after the clutch triple down the line for Kern. I think we have benefitted from bad calls, but Cardinal lead 1-0 in T6. For context, SDSU is a top 25 team (#24) and was just in the Super Regionals last year (and challenged Utah all the way in that Super), and we are playing them on the road with a nearly sold out crowd. Card as a top 5 team and national title contender will get everyone's best every time we play.

It's now 3-0 after Caelen Koch with a no doubt homer to center field. Card just wearing down the relief pitching for the Aztecs.

Stanford win a 3-0 win. Canady threw a one hitter with 15 Ks
