We have 6 players who could or will be playing their final college season.
Final year for sure
Michael Jones
Spencer Jones
Keefe
Bynum

Possible covid year 5th year:
Angel
Murrell

We have no commits and per 247 only one warm possible

Of course given our record of the last 19 seasons except when the Lopis played no surprise about recruiting

Well, at least the next coach will have a built in "cupboard was bare" excuse. Assuming there is a next coach next year rather than more of the same. :-/

I don't know if there's even an exciting coach candidate in this market interested in this job

Look across the Bay.

RE: Stanford MBB 2023-24 - Sam Leopold - 10-19-2023

The results of Ken Pomeroy's first ever "H.U.M.A.N." poll recently came out.  It's essentially several hundred of his subscribers ranking Division I in accordance with the Bradley-Terry algorithm.  In the H.U.M.A.N. poll, Stanford is...... wait for it............ #96.

But hang on.  Before you assemble yourselves into a Fire Haase mob and charge the Arrillaga Center, Mr. Pomeroy had this to say (he has Stanford at #42 in his own pre-season rankings, by the way):

Quote:On the flip side, Colorado will get some top 25 consideration by the AP voters, but they could barely crack the top 50 here. And Northwestern (#62) and Stanford (#96?!) seemed to be judged more on their reputation than what’s on their roster.

Hey, Kenny buddy....... what's on our sideline matters too.

I hope he would be a real candidate for us, but I'm afraid we might have fallen into the "you snooze, you lose" trap.

RE: Stanford MBB 2023-24 - BACardinal - 10-28-2023

Cormac Ryan and Harrison Ingram both started in their exhibition game for UNC

They must have really improved...or UNC is not as talented as they typically are.

Serves the 'Ruins right.

You conspire with the USuCk Toejams to destroy the Pac-12 conference, then in our last trip to Pauley in the foreseeable future, we come in and destroy you.  Poetic mother #$%^*&! justice.

Now do it again on Saturday
