Yes, but apparently Villips is ranked high enough in the respective rankings after today's win (could be OWGR, Fedex or some other metric) to qualify. I guess we will see when the fields are announced for the respective events. SI claims Villips is definitively in the PGA Championship.

106th in OWGR and you need to be top 50 (or qualify one of the other ways).

Yes, he is in the PGA. The Masters will require a win in a full field event before the tournament or a Top 50 ranking in the OWGR by the week before the tournament. The Open and US Open requirements need to be met closer to those tourneys.

McNealy, Salinda, Rodgers, Vilips and Bramlett all earning good paychecks so far in 2025. Need to get Thor going and Wu needs to make the most of the limited opportunities he’ll get this year. McNealy, Rodgers and Vilips all pretty secure/exempt on the Tour. The others need to have more good results to gain the same security.

Stanford has four players at The Players Championship.
Salinda had an opening 69 at the TPC. He's T20 currently, there are a few more golfers out on the course.
Vilips and McNealy are in at T62 in at even par 72, maybe in danger of missing the cut, depending on tomorrow.
Rodgers is in at +4, 76, T116.

Based on our recruits rankings I expected much better than I have seen. I think it is doubtful we will even make the NCAA's. Have no clue what the issues are, over rated recruits? Bad Coaching? or Bad Luck? The women bring in hghly ranked players who play that way. What gives with the men. Congrats to Vilips and Bramlett, Bramlett in particular considering what he has gone through to continue playing.

At the Players Championship, Maverick McNealy followed his opening 72 with an 81 and missed the cut. Patrick Rodgers went 76-72 and missed the cut. Isaiah Salinda is -5 and currently T29.

At the Players Championship, Stanford golfers McNealy (+9), Vilips (+6), and Rodgers (+4) missed the cut. Salinda finished 68th with a +8.
Of the other SFBA golfers, Cal's Max Homa (+6) and Michael Kim (Even) also missed the cut. Byeong Hun An finished T52 (+2) and Collin Morikawa finished T10 (-7). Mark Hubbard of SJSU missed the cut at +8. And Santa Clara's Matt McCarty finished T20 at -4.
Just the fact that 10 of the 16 SFBA college golfers teed it up in this tournament is a good showing.

At the Valspar Championship, Stanford PGA golfers Karl Vilips (+7), Michael Thorbjornsen (+6), Joseph Bramlett (+4) all missed the cut.
Isaiah Salinda, Patrick Rodgers, Brandon Wu, Tiger Woods and Maverick McNealy didn't play.

Has there been a bifurcation of the college tournament reporting sites? I thought golfstat.com had all tournaments, but it now looks like scoreboard.clippd.com has the premier events such as the Goodwin.

Golfstat lost the NCAA contract a few years ago. Clippd convinced the NCAA golf committee to use its ranking system and scoreboard. But the roll out last year was so bad that Golfstat stepped in to host the scoring for a number of tournaments.
Clippd has fixed its technical problems and now has most of the tournaments. Its ranking system is used to determine NCAA eligibility.

There's been a recent change in the PGA tour's competitive framework. For more than four decades, the Top 125 FedEx Cup ranked players had earned fully exempt Tour status for the subsequent year. This year, it is changing. The Top 100 on the 2025 FedExCup Fall standings will earn fully exempt tour status for 2026 while #'s 101-125 will retain conditional status.
So this fall's competition to earn fully exempt status is going to be dramatic, and tour rookies -- including a pair of Stanford alums -- will factor into the drama. Karl Vilips is ranked #54 in FedExCup points, having won the Puerto Rico Open in just his third tour start as a member...and that was after missing the first 45 days of the season due to injury. As a tournament winner, he's fully exempt through the end of 2027.
Isaiah Salinda is ranked #57 in FedExCup points. He's made six cuts in eight starts, just finished T11 at the Texas Children's Houston Open.
Stanford vets Mav McNealy is #17 in FexExCup points, and Patrick Rodgers is #33.
Joseph Bramlett is #124...and Michael Thorbjornsen is #164
