They set up the tower in CF there were people on the tower but no camera. The camera on the roof was way too far away

Stanford vs. Kentucky moved up to 2:30 pm, plus gostanford.com not showing a broadcast on ACCNX as of 9:45 pm PT on Wednesday.

That's the good news. The bad news is that Stanford is losing 8-2 in the bottom of the 4th. Stanford has already committed 4 (!) errors. Hailey Nutter, Kentucky's frosh ace, has held Stanford to one hit so far.
Kentucky scores two more in the top of the 5th on two walks a couple of wild pitches and an error. Stanford down 10-2 in the bottom of the fifth. Need one run to not be run-ruled.
In the early game, Kentucky lost to Cal State Fullerton 6-2.
Softball is a fickle game.

Unranked Kentucky with 11 hits and Stanford with 5 errors. Can I be honest? That's bad softball on the part of Stanford. Hopefully an anomaly.

San Jose State's Spartan Softball Stadium
In yesterday's game, Alyssa Huston started and gave up 0 earned runs, and still took the loss. You don't see that every day (thank goodness)! On the bright side, Kentucky's ace came into the game with a 0.00 ERA and a 0.17 WHIP in 3 games and Stanford delivered 5 hits, 2 walks and 5 earned runs in 5 innings against her.

Is it realistic to think this permit misstep will be resolved before next weekends home games with Texas coming to town?

Stanford was not able to complete all of the finishing work necessary to receive a temporary occupancy permit from the County of Santa Clara before last weekend’s Stanford Invitational. Because the necessary permitting was not in place, the decision to proceed with the Invitational last weekend was made in error, and after review by university leadership, the decision has been made to move games from this weekend’s tournament to San Jose State University and Santa Clara University, along with West Valley College, which hosted two games on Thursday.

I have no direct knowledge on what are the specific items that need to be either completed or corrected in order for either an occupancy permit or conditional occupancy permit to be issued. But this issue of securing a permit to occupy can be caused by failure of anyone of the contractor, construction manager (if there is one) the owner or the regulatory agency. According to the sfgate article there are a list of items that need to be completed. I would not be shocked if the list of items was something new and caught the contractor, construction manager or owner off guard.
