What about the Kal Weenies?
they are in the second game that day at 10:30 am PT

What about the Kal Weenies?
and looking at the bracket for 2025 the schedule is the same for day 1 with
game 1 - #13 vs #12
game 2 - #15 vs #10
game 3 - #14 vs #11
While the games are in the same order in 2026, they have been moved 2 hours earlier than
last year (11AM EST vs 1PM EST).
I don't know what reason/excuse there might be for that, but I do know which two teams it impacts the most.
At least one of those two teams had to schedule their final regular season game two hours earlier than in 2025 and reschedule their Senior celebration to before that game. In 2025, Stanford had just 71.5 hours and 2700+ miles between games, resulting in #11 seed Stanford being upset by the #14 seed. In 2026, wiith just 67 hours between one game and the next, of which about 5 hours would be spent on a plane, I am forced to believe that Stanford winning the first game is a long shot, no matter how well they play on the West Coast.

I'm afraid I'm also expecting that worst tomorrow morning. Tonight Tara said that they had to be at the gym 2 hours before the game, which mean waking up 2 hours before that, which will be 4 am body clock time. I'll be thrilled if we can escape with a W tomorrow, no matter who's the higher seed or has the better record.

ESPN gives us a 72% chance of beating Miami today.

I think the first quarter will be key. Are they awake?

Renind me — how many steps are allowed without dribbling?

On phone so espn play by play only but rebounding terrible so maybe another big would help since Nunu has a foul?

We’re getting good shots. But missing.

So far no.
End of q1 - down 9, 19-10. The magic number pn defense this year is 70. Give up more and we lose; so not a great start.

10 point first Q won't cut it. Body clock strikes again.

Miami's last game was at G Tech, so they've been there ever since (not that body clock would've been a difference, but certainly the hotel).

Somebody make a Card Starbucks run, Venti Americano's add shot, for everyone.
Love to see a big (Nunu) rebound, run the floor, sink a floater! Wow

Hey, we're waking up. We've cut the lead to 2. We've scored 18 in the 2nd Q with 3:39 still remaining. 4-6 from 3 really helps.
We take a 2 point lead into the halftime locker room. We are shooting 61.5% from 3.

7 3s in Q2.

3 point shooting barrage gets them back in this - up 2 at the half. This likely isn’t a viable strategy for the whole second half, but it’s a game now.

7 made 3s in the second Q is the most we've made in a Q all season. We've got to stop their big in the second half because we can't continue to rely on the 3 ball. She's killing us with her elbow wrap move under the basket.

As they said on the broadcast after she scored on Eschmeyer, she's been playing college basketball for 6 years. She knows a thing or two.

Remind me again how this is allowed? Looks painful.

Miami's Raviv palms the ball every time she dribbles. She also pushes off with her off hand every time she drives.

Oh Oh. They are back to an 8 point lead. Not good.

Well, the 3rd Q has not been our friend. With 2:05 to play in the Q we have been outscored 21-11. We now trail by 8.
