We gave up big chunks of yardage but stopped them just outside of FG range and forced them to punt. Now, let's keep the offense rolling and put another 7 on the board. 11:52 in the 2nd Q.

We look pretty evenly matched against this 4-3 FCS team. We can't run the ball and we have the worst defense in ACC and arguable FBS so Elon is going to score points eventually. Very small crowd for homecoming.

Now we decline the holding penalty on 4th and 8. Nearly the same field position as the 4th and 9 when we accepted the penalty and gave them another 3rd down. Tavita's decisions?

No we are not a great team, but let's not be hyperbolic. We are up 14-0, we are outgaining them 202-94, we have 13 first downs to their 7, we have 6.2 yards per play vs their 4.2. Given that this is Elon, we should be beating them much more soundly, but let's also not pretend that this is an even matchup.

Now we are, but when Card10Fan posted that we were only up 7 points and we were giving up big chunks to their offense.
The truth is that we are not a great time, not a good team, and not an average team. We are a bad FBS team.
