I don't care what you say about Peyton...anybody who makes this video is OK with me:

I concede the point that the guy has comedic acting chops.  Winning the big game on the other hand, is not his forte.

So he ends his career with only one Super Bowl ring. Ask Dan Marino if he'd settle for that.

(Hey, it just occurred to me to wonder why we haven't heard from Garvin lately. Marino's name has been mentioned at least once in this thread before now, and no response? Is he still searching out the rest rooms in the Herald's new building?)

Garvin,

Welcome back!  If you had gone to Harvey Nicks instead, you could have avoided the be.ars and the tacky statue and memorial to Dodhi and Diana.

I assume you went to cover the royal birth.  So tell us is it a boy or a girl?  Eager readers need to know.

Harrods is the most hilarious kind of decadence. A few points that I remember:

I went there during the heights of the go-go London financial scene, so I imagine that it was more extreme then than now. Still, imploring customers to sign up for their "Timeless Decadence" Christmas party with a deadline of October was special. Also I distinctly remember a large reproduction of Shelly's Ozymandias in some stairwell (there is, I believe, an Egyptian-themed floor.)

And the British like to claim Americans don't understand irony.

Welcome back. I was worried about you.

The ability to read the coverage of a defense consistently and passing accurately is still paramount for NFL QBs. When your QB is the lead rusher for your team, that is not a franchise QB - that is someone too banged up to play effectively after 5-7 years. Pick him up for Fantasy Football, but sell him if you're talking about reality.

If Cam couldn't run he would still be a star.

"After everything conceivable had been written"... was that on purpose?

And assuming I remember the last days of pregnancy correctly: if the baby hadn't been born when it was or soon after, the journalistic cannibalism would have been nothing compared to what Kate would have done to William after 36 hours or so of labor...

Re: The Gang of Four - yvonne - 07-23-2013

Then, the baby would have become second in line.
