It's probably just as well. Assuming Keller Chryst turns out to be the player we think he will, Rosen would have spent the majority of his career at Stanford on the bench behind him. Somehow I don't think that would have flown with Josh, and I bet he would have transferred.

P.S. Rosen supposedly tweeted one time "I know I'm a tool" (or words to that effect), so I don't think it particularly bothers him that some people think he's a pompous ass.

I wouldn't be so sure Rosen would not have beaten our Chryst. In fact, my money would be on Rosen.

Hey, anything's possible; none of us have a crystal ball.  However, given the fact that Chryst is being described as "near-Luck" in ability, I doubt if Rosen would have.

This article explains Rosen's approach to coaching and sheds light on why some coaches like Dilfer and Shaw aren't too enthused with him.

The more I read about Rosen, the more I understand the decision not to give him an offer.

Show off :)

Yeah, there were rumors floating around then about his attitude.

Re: Elite 11 - CompSci87 - 08-22-2014

Well, Rosen has a point that if every coach he talks to tries to tweak his motion in a different way, it'll only mess him up, not help him. So if this was the only thing he said that made him sound uncoachable, I'd give him a pass. But of course it's not...
