Well now. The NFL has handed down the "punishment". Not quite a slap on the wrist. Dom DiSandro is barred from being on the Eagles sideline for
one (1) game for stepping on the field and laying hands on a 49ers player. He'll still be able to travel with the team and perform his other duties. And the door is open to additional actions by the NFL.

And not that it matters, but the NFL came out with a
second memo governing the behavior of non-players/non-coaches; e.g., stay off the white stripe boundary of the field, don't touch other players, etc.

Back in my crew days, we had a guy banned for the year. His sin? He was on UCLA sideline. Owusu made his famous TD catch. He reacted with an excited “did you see that” or something similar. Mora went nuts. Called PAC 12 office. And they banned him.
Mora. I was always glad to see Stanford pound that twit.
Win out get No 1 seed. Which is great. Except it may mean they have to play both Cowboys and Eagles. Because the Cowboys will be the number five seed unless the Eagles lose again, which is doubtful given their schedule. They will play the lunar of the NFC south, which will be a crummy team that squeaks by on about eight and eight. But still will be seated at four because of the stupid way the NFL seeds. After the Cowboys blast that team, and assuming the Eagles in number two and Detroit in number three take care of six and seven respectively, that will leave the 49ers with Dallas.
If I were commissioner for a day, id change it so that the number one seed gets to pick who it plays in the Divisional round. It earned that right after 17 games. Plus it would be fun. Bulletin Board material…..

I like that solution...
Winning out is going to be easier said than done. Three of the 49ers' remaining opponents are fairly weak (Rams, Cardinals, Commanders). The Cardinals and Commanders are particularly weak, and both games are on the road. Rams are at home, last game of the season. But the Ravens (10-3) on Christmas Day will be a bit of a challenge. The 49ers have three minor advantages (a) it's a 49er home game, (b) the game is at 5:15 p.m., which is 8:15 body clock time for the Ravens players. I anticipate the Ravens will wear down in the second half as they will be playing past 9:30 p.m. body clock time, and ( c ) the 49ers will have played a weak Cardinals team the prior week, and the Ravens will have played a strong Jacksonville team and may be a bit more worn down.
Otherwise...the Ravens have done slightly better against most of their common opponents (Bengals, Browns, Rams, Seahawks, Cardinals). Ravens are 3-1 against the Bengals and Browns, 49ers are 0-2. Niners beat Seattle by 18 and 12, Ravens beat them by 34. Niners beat the Rams by 7, Ravens beat them by 6. Niners crushed the Cardinals by 19, Ravens beat them by 7.
I suspect the 49ers will be favored by 4. ESPN's matchup predictor gives the 49ers a 64.4% chance of winning.

Even if the Cowboys take the NFC East from the Eagles, Eagles will then be the 5 seed with the easy matchup. So a 1 seed will either play Cowboys then Eagles or Eagles then Cowboys, so your point stands either way.

PFF graded out Jon Feliciano at 91.4 rating with Colton McKivitz at 81.3 (his career high, with a 90.0 run blocking grade). Not too shabby for a beleagured line, they were the first and fifth best on offense. Lowest grades on offense were LG Aaron Banks (39.2) and Jake Brendel (50.7).
On defense, rookie safety Ji'Ayir Brown graded out at 88.3, highest on defense. Lowest grades on defense were Randy Gregory (28.6), Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles (29.5) and Kalia Davis (41.8).

I'm less convinced this will happen. Remember for the Niners to play cowboys/eagles in some order (assuming they are 2/5 seeds), in round 1 the 2, 3, and 5 seeds need to win.
Even if teams are heavily favored (let's say 75%), that's a 42% chance of happening. Then to play the 2 seed the 2 seed needs to beat the 3 seed. Call this a 65% chance. Now our total is 27%. There is a reason that Vegas loves to sell you on 3 team parlays. We frequently underestimate the chance of the underdog winning and fail to account for the cumulative probability when stacking multiple games.
TLDR: NFL is unpredictable. Go all out for the 1 seed, bye, and home field advantage and worry about the rest later.

LOL.
Trap game today. Cardinals usually play Niners well. They are 2-2 with Murray back. Running QBs can give them problems. Armstead, Hargraave and probably Ward out.
Niners still should win. But it’s a dangerous game.

Agreed. Cardinals perform well against large spreads at home. 1-2-2 in their last five games of this nature. Lots of good 49ers are out today, including Hargrave and Armstead. So Givens and especially Kinlaw need to have a big day. 493ers declined to pick up Kinlaw's fifth year option, so he's performing for all NFL teams today (and the rest of the season). Burks is out. Odum is out. McCloud is out. Hufanga is out. Banks, Burford, Greenlaw and Ward are questionable. I doubt Greenlaw or Ward will play. Other than Jon Feliciano, I don't know anything about Jesse Davis (32, former UDFA, 72 starts wtih Miami and Pittsburgh) or Ben Bartch (former 4th round pick), the other guards on the roster. Zakelj, Latu, Gray and Jackson are on injured reserve.
DT T. Y. McGill and RB Jeremy McNichols were elevated to the active roster, joining recent arrivals WR Chris Conley, S Erik Harris, DB Logan Ryan, RB Tyrion Davis-Price and RB Jeremy McNichols.

Nice to see Jake Moody doing well. I was concerned in the preseason. At present, Moody has kicked 52 consecutive PATs, tied for the longest streak since the PAT became a 33 yard kick in 2015. He's made 18 of 21 FG attempts, and is 8th in the league in scoring with 107 points (McCaffrey is #3 with 120 points, tied with former 49er Raheem Mostert).

Unfortunately the three misses include his only truly “big” attempt. The 41 yarder vs Cleveland. He’s going to need to make his next big pressure kick. Cause that’s job criterion 1 for an NFL kicker.
