Just like in the UA-ASU game, there was a 4-pt swing involving a technical. Cori Close got a technical when UCLA was leading 56-52. WSU made the two FT plus two more in the ensuing play to tie up the game 56-56.
Wild ending: UCLA was ahead 65-63 and had the ball with 20 sec left, but Osbourne committed a turnover. In the ensuing WSU possession, Krystal L-W grabbed a rebound close in, made the shot while being fouled, and made the FT with 1.7 seconds left. UCLA advanced the ball with a TO, but threw the ball away on the inbounds play.
Could be the end of any chances by UCLA for the NCAAs.
Must be the day for technicals today. In the UO-OSU game, Rueck picked up a technical in the 3Q complaining about a no-call. UO leads 60-56 with 6.03 min left in 4Q

Oregon beat OSU after being behind going into the 4th.
Our toughest game remaining in regular season play will be going to Oregon I think, and going to OSU won't be easy either. Oregon is a much improved team from when we last played them.

I watched the end of the game and there was a game-overturning, egregious bad call by Kyle Bacon on the end line with 7 seconds left in favor of WSU, leading to the tying & go-ahead points. Had it been correctly called (ie, a no-call), UCLA was up 2 with the ball and 7 seconds left. Bacon called an out-of-bounds by the foot of the UCLA player. He emphatically pointed at her foot as though he was absolutely sure of his call. The video shows her foot at least 2" away from the end line.
I had to wonder where that call came from. I know what Adia Barnes would say. I think it was a ref who was itching to make some sort of call, showing he was part of the game. Instead of calling what his eyes saw, he called what he wanted to see.
Maybe it isn't a coincidence: Kyle Bacon was the ref on the end line that failed to notice the player's foot on the end line when rebounding the ball to put up a shot carrying Oregon over Arizona in overtime.

Yes, it looked like the UCLA player was not out of bounds.

OSU wins 68-62.
OSU’s Mitrovic is not polished but was effective (10 pts, 5 rebounds in 20 min). She only played 7 min in the first game against us. Probably will see more see more time this Friday.

I think that puts us 4 games up on the field in the loss column with four games to play. With our next win, we can clinch the pac-12 regular season championship.

Cal was supposed to host ASU tomorrow, but that got cancelled and now Cal will be hosting Cal State LA. I wonder if they considered Stanford or some other conference team owed a game...

North Carolina beats Louisville 66-65. Hopefully that will give us at least a slim margin to hang onto the #2 seed if we should falter ourselves at some point.

My admiration for Graves which had ticked down just ticked back up. I appreciate what he said about scheduling and more important how he has been willing to make up games, even when some opponents have not.

What did I miss? I hated what he did to Adia when Arizona played them in Eugene, so he was in my doghouse. I just liked what he said about scheduling here.
What is happening to Tennessee? They are down 16 late in the 4th to unranked Alabama which is 3-9 in the SEC. Anyone watching that game?

It seemed like they haven't fully gotten over losing their key reserve Keyen Green, even though they've won their last two games against Missouri (only team so far to beat South Carolina this season) and Vanderbilt
North Carolina just edged out Louisville
