2023 Recruit
https://thegatorseye.com/8299/showcase/committed-ellie-sampson-to-stanford/
6-0 Setter right side ranked # 42 in the new prep volleyball ranking released today
Also Clara Stowell 6-2 Setter Right Side is committed although I thought for Beach. She is ranked 51 for Indoor
Only 3 of the top 27 for 2023 remain uncommitted. A good sign as we believe all three are being recruited by Stanford

Bob, who are the three uncommitted?

The link is about Ellie Sampson.
Ellie Sampson has committed to the application process at Stanford University to play beach volleyball.
I've lost track of who is available in 2023 for indoor. Are any of those three uncommitted players focused on indoor?

Ellie is ranked as an indoor player
I’ll name the three but the grandkids and Santa are here

# 2 Julia Blyashov OH 6-2 CA
# 11 Jordyn Harvey OH 6-2. UT
# 21 Mele Corral- Blagojevich OH 6-1 OH
All three have been mentioned as possible Stanford recruits for some time.
At this point hard to tell how many openings we will have
RE: Stanford Women’s Volleyball - Softball Fan - 12-25-2021
Thanks, Santa is a priority over VB. I have three sons ages 29 to 34, one married and two with girlfriends but no grandkids.
I’m going to list club and high school of recruits so I can refer back to it.
Julia Blyashov (6’3” OH) WAVE club/Cathedral Catholic HS
Mele Corral- Blagojevich (6’-1” OH) Mizuno Long Beach 18 Rockstar club/Redondo Union HS
Jordyn Harvey (6’2” OH) Hive club, Utah/Bountiful HS, Utah
All three of these recruits are listed as OH. I would really like to see Stanford go after a top libero. I believe Ipar Kurt from Turkey is still a possibility for 2023 but no one is talking about her.
Here is an article about Morgan Hentz and a knee injury she suffered this past summer. Hentz was going to play professionally in the professional league Athletes Unlimited but decided instead to play for a new league LOVB.

Isn’t there a libero from UCLA in the transfer portal? Maybe she will pull a Madeline Gates and get into a Stanford grad school and then join the team after the fact.

Edit: NM, I see she transferred to Texas.

Wow, are we seeing the beginning of the end of Penn State being a powerhouse in WCVB? Like what had happened to the likes of 80s and 90s WCVB perennial behemoths Pacific, Hawaii and LBSU?
I doubt Penn State will be out of the conversation. The Nittany Lions are still in one of the top volleyball conferences, so you'll always get recruits who want to play in the Big 10. The challenge for Pacific, LBSU, and Hawaii was that they aren't in a Power 5 conference. Sad, but the truth.

Note the disclaimer; this is really a press release from Beacon Orthopaedics.
Here's the LOVB website:

Scroll down for the part about the pro league, coming in 2022. I see Alisha Glass Childress is involved, along with several other prominent names.
Oh, scroll down further, and you see Denise Corlett listed as an advisor.

Prep VB has ranked Rubin #10 and Belardi # 33
RE: Stanford Women’s Volleyball - Softball Fan - 12-27-2021
Max Preps named Elia Rubin National Player of the Year. And yes part of that is because she played on the best high school team in the country.
