Two highlight reel games in a row - pitching, offense, defense, everything was clicking against an opponent that came in with a lot of confidence and had a loud crowd behind it. All Right Now!
Do we now root for North Carolina State? I think that Stanford will be matched against the winner of that Super Regional.

Hmm, I think you just set the standard for dumb narrative. Dont know if you are also a standard bearer for brainwashed. But you might get informed about number of people “who have never been out of their state” and are “brainwashed” nevertheless go to and graduate from Stanford. You might also want to look at the crrows of people moving from California to Texas and compare that with the number going the other way.
Are you sure you arent a USC fan?

check what some tech fans were saying to Stanford players all weekend, I know cause I have colleagues and friends in that dugout. They took it as a chance to get way deeper about California/Stanford in general and their insults all weekend showed that. Ask what they said to Eddie Park all weekend and then get back to me. I have no respect for that state/university.

So you assume they have never been out of their state? And your critical of their assumptions? Nothing like responding to a stereotype with a stereotype.
The soft Calif athlete bit has been going on a long time. It’s not only a “Texas” thing. I remember when Elway was branded as a soft Calif whiner.
It’s garbage. But iirc, fans on this board were complaining about Stanford playing afternoon games in the Texas heat. I guess the players shut everyone up. They generally are the best ones to do it….

Good point, we should root for NC State tomorrow, but if Beck pitches like he did yesterday it shouldn't matter.

That is fine. You have that “right.” But why then would you expect anyone from “that state or that University” to respect you?
Although I am shocked that ball players are throwing out barbs. Almost as shocking as gambling at Ricks.
