I just learned this morning that Stanford will be only the 2nd team from California to play at Clemson - not all that surprising.  Who was the first?  And for bonus points, who was their coach?

A body bag game, but not SJSU.  Hints - the game was in 1990, the coach was a former NFL coach, and the school's final football season was 1991.

I would add Hunter, for Catfish Hunter. And my personal favorite, Joe Rudi.
