I subscribe to fubo.tv. Deleted my tweet quoted above because I finally found ESPN ews. Nevertheless, ESPN is moving games around their network like a pigeon playing checkers.

Long time listener, first time caller! Just kidding. This is my first post on this message board, but felt a needs to come on here with the success the
baseball program is seeing post Marquess.
I was a supporter of Esquer when he was at Cal. I was excited to get some new blood and attitude in that program to change the direction. The recognition the program has received with the number of major leaguers that represent the program under his time at Cal. Is a great accomplishment to date.
I was sad to see him go, but with the obstacles he was facing before and after 2011. The constant uncertainty if the program will last, and the chicanery that was going on behind the scenes, as was reported in 2011 during the programs CWS run.
I understood why he took the opportunity to go home when it presented itself. The program seems to be benefiting today with the Pac and tourney momentum going into the post season.
For me, where someone received their diploma does not matter, it is the potential of what can be accomplished. That is a rare attitude on the other side of the bay. Too bad others did not see it the same way, and took every opportunity to complain. As for the state of the program today, playing games until 2am for an all or nothing result, is a major accomplishment.
Good luck in the regional, represent the conference well!
Oh, and if anyone says anything good or defends Esquer on here, I am accused of being the author of that post by the other message board. Ballbuster, you have been the latest. Thanks for that! LOL!!!!

A little more on the field for the regional.
By strict circular seeding, Stanford as the #2 seed should also have in it's regional the overall #31, #34, and #63 teams.
Now, they never go for strict circular seeding as there is clearly an effort to do geographical grouping. But it does seem a place to start in thinking about things. So, to compare to rankings and RPI:
Circular Seeding: #2, #31, #34, #63
Baseball America ranking: #2, #16, #23, unranked
D1Baseball ranking: #2, #13, #20, unranked
USA Today/Coaches*: #4, #14, #21, unranked
Collegiate Baseball: #2, #11, unranked, unranked
NCBWA poll: #2, #15, #19, unranked
Warren Nolan ELO: #2, #10, #17, #196**
RPI: #3, #26, #44, #215
* I hesitated to include the USA Today/Coaches' poll because there are so many inane results that it is clear it is not a serious effort. Still, it is used by a lot of media so that tipped me to include it.
** I am not sure where Binghamton ranks in the computer rankings among NCAA tournament teams. I know they are above a couple, but at that level the details don't matter much.
This is an extremely tough #2/#3 seed combo by every measure other than RPI.

Friday games are at 1 and 6 pm. Saturday, 1 and 7 pm. Sunday, 1 and 6 pm.
If a game is necessary on Monday, it will be at 7 pm.

Extremely unlikely since only one first round game from any of the 16 regions is being shown on ESPN2 and that's UCLA/Florida State, a good matchup consisting of the 2/3 seeds in the Auburn region, involving two recognizable names (one of them from the Pac-12 as it turns out).
13 of the 16 first round games involving the top seeds are on ESPN+, since those are expected to be less competitive games. ESPNU is only showing four first round games and three of them involve western teams (Oregon State, Arizona, San Diego). Stanford vs Binghamton (22-28 record this year) was never going to be on one of their linear networks, regardless of geography.
