Isn't that just a picture of her on the Stanford campus.  When kids commit to Stanford usually the first thing they do is put up a message on social media they have committed.  I don't see that here although I could be missing it.

Update: My mistake. Right there it is boldly stated on the last picture. I also see it now appearing in the comment section.

I updated the list up front with the good news.  We really need to pair up Juju with Nunu.

ASGR has her at #45 in this list: https://asgrbasketball.com/2023-top-60-players/

Her high school team is very loaded. They have five players in the top-40 over the 2022-24 classes:
- 2022 Maya Nnaji - #9 (Arizona)
- 2024 Alivia McGill - #14
- 2023 Taylor Woodson - #27
- 2022 Amaya Battle - #38 (Minnesota)
- 2023 Nunu Agara - #39 (Stanford)

Agara has an impressive combination of size, skills, and athleticism - looking forward to seeing her develop on the farm.

Also on that team was Paige Buckers when Agara was a freshman.

BlueStar has her at #16 for 2023.  No idea how good they are as a ranking service these days.  But whatever, a commit this early is definitely someone the coaches were very high on.  Very glad to welcome her to Stanford WBB.

Very excited about this.  Love that most descriptions of her game use the terms "Uber-athletic".

Yes. The "pogo stick" descriptor makes me think of Candice, Nneka and Chiney.

from her videos, kiki iriafen seems super athletic as well.

Kiki is super athletic. I think she is going to shock some people this year, despite all the depth we have and how hard minutes will be to come by.

We have a chance for a line-up that features a Juju, a Nunu, and two Kiki’s.  Come on, make it happen!

OK, BostonCard, I'll take a stab at it for your Juju/Nunu and Kiki/Kiki wish:

Projected and Hopeful
(for RICE & WATKINS)
Stanford 2023-2024 Roster:
***********************
SF/SG
      -  Juju WATKINS               6'0     Fr     2023 #2
SF  -  Brooke DEMETRE          6'3     Jr     2021 #11      (Highest Ranking:  ASGR #8)

PF  -  Kiki IRIAFEN                   6'3     Jr     2021 #19     (Highest Ranking:  ASGR #13)
PF  -  Cameron BRINK           6'4     Sr     2020 #3

CC  -  Lauren BETTS                 6'7    So     2022 #1

SG  -  Nunu AGARA                 5'11   Fr     2023 #39
SG  -  Agnes EMMA-NNOPU  5'11    Sr
SG  -  Elena BOSGANA            6'2      Jr

PG  -  Kiki RICE                       5'11    So    2022 #2
PG  -  Jzaniya HARRIEL           5'10    Jr     2021 #78     (Highest Ranking:  ASGR # 57)
PG  -  J VAN GYTENBEEK         5'7     Sr     2020 #39     (Highest Ranking:  PN # 29)
PG  -  Talana LEPOLO              5'7     So    2022 #70     (Highest Ranking:  ASGR #43)

It's pretty evident that Stanford needs  one more SF, one more PF and one more Center
(from the recruiting Classes of 2022 and 2023) to fill out this roster....

Based on that projected (and hopeful for RICE and WATKINS) 2023-2024 roster,
I can predict a starting line-up of:

SF  -  DEMETRE   6'2     Class of 2021 #11    (Highest Ranking:  ASGR #8)
PF  -  BRINK        6'4      Class of 2020 # 3
CC  -  BETTS        6'7      Class of 2022 # 1
SG  -  WATKINS   6'0      Class of 2023 # 2
PG  -  RICE          5'11     Class of 2022 # 2

So let's continue dreaming and praying (it just might come true)....

RE: Women's Basketball Recruiting (Class of 2022+; split May 2021) - BostonCard - 10-26-2021

Yeah, it would be a three guard lineup, but you could have:

PG: KIKI Rice
G: JUJU Watkins
G: NUNU Agara
PF: KIKI Iriafen
and, if you will allow me a bit of artistic license:
C: LULU Betts

Is this the week we get answers?  I hope so. I'm really getting tense about this!
