You missed Perry, though he was a candidate for so short it would have been easy to forget.  But weren't there more than 12 Republicandidates?
You also missed Lindsey Graham and George Pataki.  I think I'm still short, though.

Why in the hell is Gilmore still in?  I grew up in VA in the 90s and I barely remember who the hell he is.

I don't know that I missed them so much as I didn't include anyone who dropped out prior to the primaries.  Apparently you wanted an exhaustive list.  OK, here goes:

Pataki, Jindal, Graham, Perry and Walker all withdrew before the primaries, so I didn't count them.  I also didn't count Jack Fellure or Andy Martin who filed as candidates with the Federal Election Commission.  Also didn't count Peter Messina, who is on the ballot in Louisiana, New Hampshire, and Idaho or Tim Cook who is on the ballot in Louisiana and New Hampshire. Walter Iwachiw is on the ballot in Florida and New Hampshire.

Others who announced a bid and filed with the FEC were Dennis Michael Lynch, Mark Everson (former IRS Commissioner) and Jimmy McMillan, the chair and leader of the Rent is Too Damn High party.

Those who apparently tested the waters by floating the idea publicly, but who did NOT file with the FEC included:

Kelly Ayotte, U.S. Senator from New Hampshire since 2011; Attorney General of New Hampshire 2004–2009
Michele Bachmann, U.S. Representative from Minnesota 2007–2015; presidential candidate in 2012
Jan Brewer, Governor of Arizona 2009–2015; Secretary of State of Arizona 2003–2009
Scott Brown, U.S. Senator from Massachusetts 2010–2013; Massachusetts State Senator 2004–2010
Sam Brownback, Governor of Kansas since 2011; U.S. Senator from Kansas 1996–2011; presidential candidate in 2008
Herman Cain, President of the National Restaurant Association 1996–1999; chairman and CEO of Godfather's Pizza 1986–1996; presidential candidate in 2012
Ken Cuccinelli, Attorney General of Virginia 2010–2014; nominee for Governor of Virginia in 2013
Jim DeMint, U.S. Senator from South Carolina 2005–2013; U.S. Representative from South Carolina 1999–2005
Mary Fallin, Governor of Oklahoma since 2011; U.S. Representative from Oklahoma 2007–2011; Lieutenant Governor of Oklahoma 1995–2007
Nikki Haley, Governor of South Carolina since 2011
Steve King, U.S. Representative from Iowa since 2003
Susana Martinez, Governor of New Mexico since 2011
Bob McDonnell, Governor of Virginia 2010–2014; Attorney General of Virginia 2006–2009
Cathy McMorris Rodgers, U.S. Representative from Washington since 2005
Ted Nugent, musician and gun rights activist from Michigan
Sarah Palin, Governor of Alaska 2006–2009; 2008 vice-presidential nominee
Mike Rogers, U.S. Representative from Michigan 2001–2015
Brian Sandoval, Governor of Nevada since 2011; Judge of the District Court for the District of Nevada 2005–2009
Rick Scott, Governor of Florida since 2011; former CEO and co-founder of Columbia Hospital Corporation
Allen West, U.S. Representative from Florida 2011–2013

And those who were suggested and publicly declined a 2016 Republican Presidential Bid included:

Marsha Blackburn, U.S. Representative from Tennessee since 2003
John Bolton, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations 2005–2006; Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Affairs 2001–2005

Bob Ehrlich, Governor of Maryland 2003–2007; U.S. Representative from Maryland 1995–2003
Newt Gingrich, Speaker of the House of Representatives 1995–1999; House Minority Whip 1989–1995; presidential candidate in 2012
Jon Huntsman, Jr., United States Ambassador to China 2009–2011; Governor of Utah 2005–2009; presidential candidate in 2012

Mike Pence, Governor of Indiana since 2013; U.S. Representative from Indiana 2001–2013
Rob Portman, U.S. Senator from Ohio since 2011; Director of the Office of Management and Budget, 2006–2007
Condoleezza Rice, United States Secretary of State 2005–2009; National Security Advisor 2001–2005
Buddy Roemer, Governor of Louisiana 1988–1994; presidential candidate in 2012
Mitt Romney, Governor of Massachusetts 2003–2007; presidential candidate in 2008; presidential nominee in 2012
Paul Ryan, U.S. Representative from Wisconsin and current Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, vice presidential nominee in 2012
Joe Scarborough, cable news and talk radio host, U.S. Representative from Florida 1995–2001

Wow, I wonder which candidate will get the benefit of the 7 votes that he leaves on the table?  ::)

Re: In case you liked Carly Fiorina - jacketree - 02-12-2016

And I am sad to disappoint my supporter(s) by announcing that I am suspending my unannounced candidacy until further notice to spend more time with my family. Or less as the case may be.

Too bad Gene missed a letter. "Committee" or "committed" both work for me.  8)
