I am not so sold that ND is really great on the ground. They certainly have talent, and are good (at least), but USC has 3 turnovers. USC has also been forced to make big changes on defense due to injuries. That leads to people being out of position. USC also isn't exactly known for great discipline on defense at the best of times. I think we will give up some yards to ND, maybe big yards, but our "Bend but don't Break" or "Rope-a-Dope" might work pretty well on them. That said, progress from DL people that don't wear 66 would be very welcome!

ND has 358 yds rushing and is averaging 9 YPC. They are a great rushing team.Â

Although I still don't understand why he gets the Voldemort hype and not McSorley, from what I've seen of PSU Barkley is pretty replaceable, McSorley isn't.

Agree. McSorley seems pretty special. Great touch on the deep ball, great running ability, great reads of the defense. He's the best player on the team. Hamilton probably number 2

Ooh! Barkley had 53 yds receiving and, holey mackerel, 15 yards on one KO return. All to go w/ 108 yds rushing on 15 carries. How can we hope that B Love can even compete w/ that kind of production?

He needed a much worse game than that for Love to take over #1.
It's going to be really infuriating when Barkley wins because of his APY numbers when they end up worse than McCaffrey's and Love's better than Henry's.

Bryce Love has that sort of game by the end of the second series.

If the unthinkable happens and Love wins, think how devastating it would be for Eastern/Southern establishment mavens. How many ballots will leave Love out of their voting entirely? It would finally break down their manipulative control, even if just momentarily. It would be great if Plunkett, Gerhart, Luck and McCaffrey could all be on the podium w/ him.

Cal and Arizona go to OT, play two, Cal loses by not converting 2pt conversion, 45-44.
Tough loss, but another example of how much better of a team they are under Wilcox than Dykes.
Don't look now, but Arizona, ASU, and USC all control their own destiny in the south. I think Arizona may have the edge.
