If I recall correctly, most of the recent ND@Stanford games have kicked off at 5 p.m. PT.

There will be lots of tickets available for Stanford's remaining home games.

The ND game might be close to a sellout, but only because ND Fan will take the place over.

You can bank on that one.

Leprechaun Nation may be less interested in attending after their beat down today.

After the Big Game, this one may be my favorite based on the sheer pointlessness and stupidity of it.  And that they don't know where the trophy is currently.

Hmm, didn't see the Territorial Cup listed, I assume that's relatively old (UA-ASU). (edit: just checked, it's actually the oldest trophy in college football: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arizona%E2%80%93Arizona_State_football_rivalry)

Does UCLA/U$C not have a name/trophy? I feel like it must? It might be one of my favorite rivalries to watch these days because of the home/home jerseys. I wish we did that.

When the football teams from these schools compete against each other, the victor is awarded the Victory Bell. The Victory Bell was originally from an old Southern Pacific railroad locomotive. It was given to the UCLA student body by the UCLA Alumni Association in 1939.

It was UCLA's symbol of victory until it was stolen by a USC organization called the Trojan Knights in 1941. After being hidden in various locations for over a year before resurfacing in a USC student magazine (known as the Wampus), a prank war between the two universities ensued until 1942, when the student body presidents of the two schools agreed that the bell would be the trophy awarded the winner of the annual UCLA-USC football game.

The bell itself is brass, and the metal mounting around it is painted blue or cardinal by the school that won the football game and earned its possession. When UCLA possesses it, the UCLA Rally Committee is responsible for its protection and care. While it is in USC's possession, the Trojan Knights are responsible for hiding, protecting, and showcasing the bell (including ringing the bell during home football games). USC currently has the victory bell.

Re: The Final Word on Rivalry games between college rivals - terry - 11-12-2017

According to the NCAA FBS record book, the most-played rivalries are these (as of the beginning of this season):

126 Minnesota-Wisconsin
121 Miami (OH)-Cincinnati
121 North Carolina-Virginia
120 Missouri-Kansas
120 Georgia-Auburn
120 Oregon-Oregon St.
119 Purdue-Indiana
119 Stanford-California
118 Texas-Texas A&M
117 Navy-Army
117 Nebraska-Kansas
114 Clemson-South Carolina
114 Kansas-Kansas St.
113 Georgia-Georgia Tech
113 Michigan-Ohio St.
113 Mississippi-Mississippi St.
112 Utah-Utah St.
112 Tennessee-Kentucky
112 TCU-Baylor
111 Texas-Oklahoma
111 Oklahoma-Oklahoma St.
110 Tennessee-Vanderbilt
110 North Carolina St.-Wake Forest
108 Texas A&M-Baylor
108 North Carolina-Wake Forest

The list posted by Mick says Stanford and California have played 120 times, while the NCAA's list says 119 times. Both Stanford's and California's records agree with the NCAA's figure of 119 games, with this year being the 120th Big Game. Whoever compiled the 120 games on Mick's list may have got to 120 by adding the unofficial game in 1918, which neither Stanford nor California counts. Or maybe they counted this year already. . . .
