Aside from home runs, this team of Clydesdales basically requires three hits to score a run. When you’ve got guys hitting below .260 in the middle of the lineup, that ain’t gonna happen much.
Williamson looks just awful at the plate these days. Wonder how long Bochy is going to stick with him.

3 hits today against the worst team in the league. Ugh.

Bring up Slater and put him in LF permanently.

Don't look now, but the Giants are just a couple game out of the cellar. Of course, they are also 4.5 out of first place. Still, the real issue is they are 5.5 out of the last wild card spot, and have lost ground since Bumgarner's return.

And after today's attempt to avoid a sweep, they head to LA for the weekend. It will be interesting to see where they are come Monday.
I never thought I'd see the day when I said I missed Belt.
Forget the wild card. They have to win the division, and now it's not just Zona they have to catch.

It started today. Onward

LOL I left to run errands when they were up 3-2 going into the bottom of the 9th. Then I check back and they won 6-3 in 16 innings with Strickland blowing another save but Blach pitching 7 scoreless innings in lo-o-o-ng relief.
This is going to be another “torture” season, I tell ya.

Longoria out with a broken hand. Belt due back soon. This team has really pieced things together considering they've had their projected starting lineup exactly 0 games (maybe 1 game) this season.

A Panik eror then a Sac Fly. 1 run no hits for the "blown" save.

Cmon after the sac bunt his job was to get a ground ball, pop up or whiff. Then whatever happens, happens. We all know that. And so does the box score - they gave him a BS.
We’ve been waiting how many years for Strickland to get his head and his arm on the same page?
I thought Melancon was supposed to be the closer anyway - but he shows up in the 6th inning these days. Maybe he’s not 100% yet.
