Beecher awarded a scholarship last Spring when he returned from cancer treatment.

Updates here:

  1. Running back. Marked Bryce Love as injured, and Cam Scarlett as starter in his place.
  2. Offensive tackle. Marked Walker Little and Foster Sarell as injured, and moved Devery Hamilton to tackle as starter in place of Little.
  3. Offensive guard. Marked Brandon Fanaika as starter in place of Hamilton.
  4. Center. Took Jesse Burkett off injured and marked him as starter in place of Drew Dalman.
  5. Defensive tackle. Marked Bo Peek as injured. Best wishes in his rehab!
  6. Marked sophomore safety Noah Williams as a scholarship player and altered relevant numbers. Congratulations to Noah!
Please let me know if there is any data I am missing.

In addition to Jack West, there were five true freshman that saw game time against UCD. See if you can name them. Answers above.

Also, every non-injured non-freshman got to see playing time, except for two players (not counting kicker Collin Riccitelli or punter Charlie Beall, neither of whom got in). See if you can name them.

Notes:

1) Offensive Guard: Devery Hamilton marked as injured, Brandon Fanaika marked as starter.
2) OLB: Casey Toohill marked as injured, Jordan Fox marked as starter.
3) In response to my question, the six true frosh to play last week were Thomas Booker, Michael Wilson, Jack West, Justus Woods, Andres Fox, and Grant Pease. Phogge got five out of six.
4) In response to my other question, the only two non-freshmen non-injured not to play last week were Thomas Schaffer and Isaiah Brandt-Sims. It has been noted that Schaffer may not be playing anymore, but not sure about IBS. I do know that he has one season of indoor track eligibility remaining, so it could be that he is avoiding injury. But that's just a guess.

Dalman at guard if Herbig at tackle

Let's hope Hall can play. No disrespect to Herbig and Dalman, but this configuration hasn't had any significant time to practice, let alone "gel".

Brant- Sims was in street clothes with a jersey on in warmups which usually means he is injured.
