"Is this what Mike Eubanks does/did when he left The Bootleg to become Associate AD?
I'm no insider so maybe I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that some part of our ascendance under Harbaugh was due to the program recognizing that we needed to do these things and hiring Mike to fill the role.
Per the DAPER directory, ME's title is Director of Recruiting and Football Operations, and has at least 2 staff reporting to him."
honestly, not sure exactly what the 3 do beyond Big Visit and assistance with practice. on day-to-day, I've heard differently from inside about the responsibilities/accountabilities on the list I posted (some of which are limited to football position coaches or the head coach)

I don't blame him at all. He does the best he can with the talent and speed he has, the latter of which IMO is too much a limiting factor.
I blame the coaches who put him there in the first place. He has a maximum return of midfield, rarely to our 40. No thanks.

Would've wanted to see Wedington back there (and I have a sneaking suspicion he would've been until he got hurt).

I have always given Mike credit for assisting in the creation of the last few "golden" years in Stanford football. However, a couple of years ago, there was word from inside the program that not everyone was happy with Mr. Eubanks and his role in the recruiting process.
