Name 2 SF Giants who are among the all-time bottom 12 MLB career OPS+ “leaders.” (Each has >3500 PAs)
Johnny LeMaster and Hal Lanier.
Edit: Hadn’t seen Mick’s response. Giants for most my lifetime had light hitting good fielding SS. Speier Crawford and to an extent Vizquel being the exceptions. Course back in the day, so did a lot of teams. Aren’t many Mark Belanger ‘s left....

Koufax and Lincecum as the two pitchers. Marichal for most wins w/o a Cy Young. Mike McCormick for most losses.

Just read your Dizzy Dean stuff. He and Koufax are two similar HOFers. Both short careers. Both incredible in their prime. I think it was Dizzy who once told the opposition he’d throw only fastballs. And threw a shutout. If I remember the story correctly, Paul then threw a shutout in game 2. Probably apocryphal. Or I’m making it up.....

Five trivia questions:
1) There are only two pitchers in MLB history who have:
- Thrown multiple no-hitters
- Won multiple Cy Young awards
- Won multiple league strikeout crowns
- Won multiple World Series titles
- Had multiple All-Star selections
One is a Dodger. One is a Giant. Name them. Phogge was right, Koufax and Lincecum.
2) Which pitcher won the most games in a season without winning the Cy Young award? Which pitcher lost the most games in a season while winning the Cy Young award? Hint: Both played on the same team, for multiple years. Most losses by a Cy Young award winner was Gaylord Perry, who went 24-16 in 1973 for the Cleveland Indians. Juan Marichal won 25 games three separate years and never won the Cy Young award. Not only did he never win it, he never finished in the Top Five. He won 25 in 1963 (25-5 Koufax) and 1966 (27-9 Koufax) and won 26 games in 1968 (losing to 22-9 Bob Gibson).
THREE MORE:
3) What do the following Hall of Famers have in common? Babe Ruth, Tom Seaver, Ken Griffey Jr., Rube Waddell, Sparky Anderson.
4) In Barry Bonds' iconic 73 HR season, he was walked intentionally 35 times, something that Barry experienced more and more, culminating in 120 IBBs in 2004, when he was 39 years old. How many times was Roger Maris walked intentionally the year he hit 61 HRs?
5) In 1921, Reuben Berman sued the New York Giants baseball team and won. What did he win, for which baseball fans have been forever grateful?

Now I remember. I thought it was "Penitentiary Face." "Hac-Man" was probably the most common.

Outsiders called him Penitentiary but the players behind his back used Prison.

THREE MORE:
3) What do the following Hall of Famers have in common? Babe Ruth, Tom Seaver, Ken Griffey Jr., Rube Waddell, Sparky Anderson.
The given first name of all five was George. George Lee Anderson; George Herman Ruth. George Thomas Seaver; George Edward Waddell; George Kenneth Griffey, Jr.
4) In Barry Bonds' iconic 73 HR season, he was walked intentionally 35 times, something that Barry experienced more and more, culminating in 120 IBBs in 2004, when he was 39 years old. How many times was Roger Maris walked intentionally the year he hit 61 HRs?
Zero. Of course, he hit in front of Mickey Mantle.
5) In 1921, Reuben Berman sued the New York Giants baseball team and won. What did he win, for which baseball fans have been forever grateful?
Mr. Berman won the right to keep a baseball that was hit into the stands.

Jeff Kent and Matt Williams are my guesses. I don't think Will Clark, Jack Clark or Darrell Evans ever led the league.

Name the first switch hitter to win a batting title in the AL and the first switch hitter to win the NL title. Hint: Once of them once said of the other: “If I’d had to hit all those singles, I would have worn a dress.”

National League Pete Rose, AL Mickey Mantle.
Who is the only switch hitter to win batting titles in both leagues?
