ding ding ding. yup, Drysdale 17 times.
Aaron hit .362 lifetime off Koufax (7 HRs in 116 ABs).
Aaron hit .215 lifetime off Bob Gibson (8 HRs in 165 ABs).
Aaron hit .288 off Marichal (8 HRs in 148 ABs).
Aaron hit okay against Don Gullett: .462 and 7 HRs in 26 ABs (at ages 36 through 40).

# 2 Claude Osteen 14

I guessed Drysdale because he spent his career in the National League, he pitched a lot of innings, and his career covered roughly the same years as Aaron's career -- Drysdale 1956-69, Aaron 1954-76. I figured they must have faced each other a lot.

LOL. He and Palmer both gave up a lot of solo home runs. Here’s a trivia question for you – how many grand slams did Jim Palmer give up?

249 PAs against Drysdale -- that's a career for many players.
lots of great Aaron stats – a couple more jumped out to me. Aaron facing Koufax had a 1.077 OPS in 130 PAs and against Carlton a 1.025 OPS in 81 PAs.
