Fabulous first half. Our defense not quite as sharp as it usually is, but pretty good, and the offense is something to behold. Having a second half that is equally good, using a deep bench, would set the tone and get us on track for what will probably be a much more challenging game in the elite eight.
What a fabulous game for Anna Wilson! Prechtel not hitting her shots, Lexie a little off, but everyone else is doing great. Hopefully Brink can have an excellent second half.
Best stat: only 3 turnovers in the 1st half. Meanwhile, we have 6 steals.
We have given up 5 O-boards, so we could do better on the glass.

We are having a little trouble with our entry passes to Brink. Two turnovers there... after three in the netire first half.

Not sure why that wasn't an over-the-back on the rebound with Prechtel, but OK. Then on the other end, Prechtel missed another bunny.

Four in double digits so far, with Lexie not far behind. Back-to-back threes by Jump and WIlliams put us up by 30.

I've been a little behind real time on DVR. Fast forward thru commercials hasn't caught me up yet. Great first half! Cam fouling and having to sit was about the only blemish.

We lead 71-37 heading into the final 10 minutes.
We have 4 players now in double digits with Lexie 1 point away from joining the group. We got a little more sloppy with turnovers in the 3rd quarter and errant passes. At least, they were largely deadball turnovers so Missouri State could not capitalize on any fast break points.
We are playing well and we can start emptying our bench. But we should continue to play aggressively and at least maintain this lead to finish this game.

We finally got in a good 3rd quarter. Nice to see that we are not letting our foot off the gas. I can't believe how much worse the officiating is in the womens' tourney versus the mens'

Yeah, Brink's fouls, Prechtel missing bunnies, and Lexi's shot being off are really the only things that aren't going close to perfectly in this game. On the flip side, Anna going 5/6 for 12 points, 6 rebounds (for the shortest player on our side), and 3 steals is pretty awesome. Haley Jones is 2 rebounds away from a double double, and Lexie is one point from being the fifth player in double digits.

Fran's had herself a nice game... 4/6 for 8 points and 4 rebounds off the bench.
And Jump... leading all scorers with 17 points 5 of 7 from behind the arc.
