Rebounding and our 3-point shooting efficiency are the 2 keys to victory for me. We need to be about even in rebounding (limit their ORs), and we will need to hit around 12 threes to win.
Brink's foul trouble and health will also be important.
One last thing...if we hold them below 70, I think we win.

We closed the quarter on a 9-0 run to tie it up at 15 at the quarter. Jones with two fouls is concerning, and Brink is being hobbled by her hamstring.
To those who in another thread talked about not draining the clock to the very end for a last shot, I present you Kiana Williams, who hit her shot with about 12 seconds to go in the quarter. It gave South Carolina another shot to end the quarter, but they missed.

We are tied at 15-15 all after the first quarter.
SC jumped to an early lead as we made four turnovers and they hit almost all of their early shots, but we buckled down and went on a 9-0 run to even the score.
Haley Jones kept us in the game with her clutch shooting, she has 9 points. HOWEVER, she picked up a second foul and unfortunately, we will have to play the second quarter without her.
Brink started but sat quickly and only went in late when Jones had to sit. I hope it was a tactical move by Tara and not because Cam was hurting.

The SC hype from ESPN has been nonstop. They even awarded the last basket of the first quarter to SC before correcting it.

Just me, or is SC getting away with some "creeping screens" where the screener will set and then progressively move up to squeeze the defender.
