Karlie was drafted by the Sparks and made the team during a couple of seasons. She was also in camp with at least one other team. I do think she can play at that level, but it's so hard to make a team with only 12 teams carrying only 11 or 12 players each.
The Sparks drafted Karlie the same year as Sidney Wiese, but in a later round. Karlie was injured in camp her first year and missed that season, then came back to camp the next year and made the team. I always felt (with my Cardinal colored glasses on, I suppose) that Karlie played better, but that Wiese got more consideration because she was a higher draft pick. I must say that Wiese has been playing well for the Sparks the last year or two, though.

Does being drafted in the WNBA, even if you don't make a team, increase your stock for overseas basketball?
For that matter, is there a pecking order for overseas basketball? Certain leagues in certain countries considered better than others? What is the highest paying, most prestigious WBB league in the world other than the WNBA?

The average WNBA salary is only about $100k. The WNBA has a lower ceiling than any overseas leagues, so a good WNBA player can make more overseas than in the US. Some of the highest paying leagues are in China, Russia and Turkey. Some of the European teams may or may not pay more per month, but total money would benefit from the longer season.

Yes, I believe it does. Looks good on your resume when you or your agent are negotiating.
