6'3" 205 and moved to 3-4 OLB this year. This has Will/Star LB (weakside, more like a hybrid LB/S in today's game) written all over it.

Are any of the 2024 QBs whom Stanford has offered able to re-classify to '23? The lack of a viable QB offer is really problematic.

There is a possible 2023 stealth, and it's also possible any of the 3 could re-classify.

I hope Shaw is recruiting with the message that Stanford is a great place regardless of the coach, and that Shaw will be gone by the time this class arrives. It would be unfortunate to only be able to recruit players who make academics the strongly dominant part of their selection process, but better than recruiting a bunch of players who will decommit when *hopefully not if* Shaw leaves.

Recruits have been reporting that Shaw has been using a light version of that message for years, so my proposal is not such a drastic change. My hope is that the buyout is already being negotiated, that Shaw knows he gone, and that Shaw wants to leave a legacy in place at the program he has helmed for more than a decade.
