Can’t run, can’t stop the run. God help Stanford against the Domers.

Man we are a shitty tackling team.

These are two bad teams in a bad league.

Lucky to hold them to a field goal, again. And no, we didn’t really stop them; they stopped themselves.

That was a nice defensive play. The option couldn't go anywhere because two defenders penetrated and one tackled each player.

Looks like a couple 3-4 teams playing up to mediocre expectations.
No real pizazz on either side.
But, I agree -- our Defense looks weaker between the 20s

It’s more like we are lucky that the Washington brain trust, who was averaging like 7 yards every time they ran the ball, decided to get cute and run an option.

How do you just not block the edge player on an end around.

I think we can confidently say Sanborn's leg is just fine

Sanborn gets off a good punt this time.

Should have been a flag for delay of game; glad it wasn’t called; sanborne found his leg, and kicked it fifty-ish yards.

Mistake by UW returner; should have been a touch back, and net 35 yarder.

Holy shit this is a boring game

Bit of a gamble by Shaw, taking a time out to stop the clock.
BC
Refs re not good at seeing the play clock get all the way to zero. That’s the third play that should have been whistled dead for delay of game (two on Stanford and one on UW).
BC
Fumble?
BC
Yes! Nice play by Kelly to force the fumble no Wyrick to pick it up, after it was laying there for what looked like forever.

Ruled a Stanford recovery. Is it being reviewed, or not reviewable? Honestly I thought we never had possession, just touched it briefly. Also our player might have stepped on the sideline before the recovery.
Yes, it's under review.

Hmmm, I’m not sure I like the Fox explanation. How do you pick up a ball and not have that considered control? Guess we will see.
