Except against pressure. Neither Ingram nor Silva can handle against pressure. Unfortunately MOC's the only one who can, and even he isn't that good at it. Ball security is not one of the strengths of any Haase team. I'm surprise more teams don't press us more often

Hurley gets a 1-game suspension and a $20,000 fine for being a ****head. A player for ASU was suspended also.

Hadn't seen the foul until the clip with the story because I've had other commitments. I don't know about the rest of the game, but the last foul on Angel was very clear. It wasn't a flop or a close call. The defender crashed into him after he released the ball but was still completing the shooting motion which includes coming down and re-establishing a non-shooting position. Hurley was only upset because refs typically let the defense get away with a little more on a final shot because they don't want to decide the game, but that was a foul that has to be called. Hurley is a whiney jackass and deserves worse than the punishment he got.
Cheers,
Pete F.

What a schitt stain of a coach. He is a bad influence on his own players. He obviously teaches them to play thug ball and teaches them to complain about every foul called.
Quote:"The actions of the head coach and student-athletes were in clear violation of the Conference's standards of conduct, and will not be tolerated," Pac-12 commissioner George Kliavkoff said in a statement Sunday night. "The Pac-12 and its membership has established regulations requiring all institutional personnel, especially head coaches, to conduct themselves in a sporting manner, and those involved in this situation failed to meet those standards."
Hurley was frustrated after the Sun Devils attempted one free throw in the first half. He was given a technical foul for arguing 30 seconds into the second half.
He became irate after Stanford's Brandon Angel was fouled on a 3-pointer with 1.1 seconds left and hit three free throws, yelling and pointing at the officials as they left the court.
Heath and Graham joined their coach in yelling at the officials.

Much as I'm no longer sure Haase is the right guy for Stanford, I'd much rather have him than Hurley. What an a-hole

Says a lot when one team is whistled for 41 FTAs and the other team gets 9 FTAs. Referees know that they're being videoed and graded on film afterward (fwiw), so there's some level of incentive to only call fouls that can be substantiated by film. Maybe you're untouchable if you're Joey Crawford, but this crew working a college game...they're probably calling it like they see it. And 41 FTAs is a lot!

I finally watched the game last night. Pathetic sportsmanship. Shifting gears a bit, looks like Taitz’s right foot is in a boot. Any info on that? Or maybe I missed it.
