Don't worry.  They got a few O boards in the 2nd Q that came off the rim to their advantage.  That's just the way the ball bounces sometimes.  We still lead them in rebounds by 2.

Except when you get offensive board after offensive board, a shot is eventually going to go in. We have a real defensive rebounding problem right now. It’s not just some bad bounces.

Entire team feels a step slow and out of sync right now. I think a lot of that is due to UCLA but the standing around instead of going for the rebound is…not great. Don’t know what to make of that.

How can we play so unengaged. UCLA is hustling and running laps around us getting every rebound and loose ball. And we just show no effort. It’s so strange. This is senior night. If there’s no leave it all in the court now - NCAA tourney is gonna be really short lived. We need to play harder.

That 3rd Q shows how much motivation counts in team basketball.  We had a 13 point lead and thought we were going to coast to an easy win.  Let's just hope that the ass kicking that we took in the quarter will fire us up.
