As I type this, Stanford forces a punt by UW after first drive of second half. I think Stanford O played great in the first half, maybe as well as can reasonably be expected. So, hard limit of maybe 30 points. There is a path to victory, but it is very, very narrow. Will need to (obviously) avoid turnovers and force one or two from UW to really have a chance to win this game.

I do think UW is overrated; they are more a team capable of pulling a big upset (like against Oregon) than a team capable of playing well week after week.

Gorgeous pass from Daniels. He has exceeded all reasonable expectations with his play tonight. 

Ayomanor the best receiver on the field? I think probably yes.

Seems like UW has had trouble running against us all game. Weird that our defensive strategy consists of forcing Pennix to pass. Seems to be working so far.

Pressure on the QB is actually getting there more in the second half than the first, which I think is something of a trend for the Cardinal. I like April, but this is UW...they are going to score some more TDs.

I'm not a lip-reader, but it looked like Coach Taylor said a bad word to Levi Rogers in that slow-motion replay right before the commercial.

Going into the 4th quarter down by 2. Excellent work tonight by this team. Definitely going to be some bright spots to build on here

At the end of the 3rd Q, we have more yards gained, more TOP, and 7 more first downs.  Crazy.
Unfortunately our best receiver is out with a shoulder injury.  It's going to be hard to win this one.

I am gutted by the Ayomanor injury. Never good when a guy is in obvious pain and heads to the locker room. Damn.

That said, the Cardinal got into the endzone, thanks in large part to Ayomanor's big catch (slightly less good throw from Daniels, but it was good enough). I just don't know how the offense is going score TDs with Ayomanor out (along with Yurosek, who has been out, obviously). 

It is going to take some outrageous defense in the fourth quarter for the Card to pull out a victory, starting immediately. But there is still a chance.

that looks like a dislocation  or rotator cuff. Is #5 still out with injury? Also, hey, Jason Raines caught a pass.

Humphries, No. 5, has been out for many weeks. No idea why.

Defense forces a turnover, very nice strip play by No. 11, Tafiti. If Stanford keeps UW under 40, if nothing else it will be a moral victory in my book!
