Everything that Brink was doing offensively earlier in the season is now being done by Iriafen. Midrange shots. Shots in the paint. Passing on the back cut. She's the entire offense right now. Iriafen should be getting a touch on every possession.

Our defense is performing well enough, at least we are preventing many transition points.

Kiki is getting beat under the basket by their center. But, if she keeps scoring it won't matter.

I am not complaining, but I don’t understand NC St’s plan. I figured they would crash the boards. They haven’t. I thought they would disrupt the guards, but they have mostly sagged back to help out in the paint.
I thought they would push the pace, and they haven’t.
Shooting improved massively. Up 10.

If it were not for those 2 offensive fouls on Kiki we would be crushing them. If we can keep Brink and Iriafen in for the whole 2nd half I like our chances.
We have 27 rebounds, they have 16.
How about 15 assists on 16 made field goals.
And most important, we are getting back on defense. The two times we got burned in transition were on missed threes with long rebounds. If we can continue to score inside we will cut down on that. I do expect that NCS will cut down on the Princeton back door cuts that Bosgana has burned them on.

Both Brink and Iriafen are close to double-doubles at the half. This is pretty basketball. I love it.

Keeping James down to 4 points is outstanding, but at some point she will heat up. But so far so good on their best offensive threat.
A lot of the second half will depend on foul trouble. Can Iriafen stay free of her third? Will Baldwin or Collins pick up an early third foul? You get the feeling that if Iriafen doesn't have to worry about fouls she will score another 20--but that is a big IF.

The third on Cam is way worse. Complete random number generation on offensive fouls today. We Have 5 already. 2 is an average game.

With both Brink and Iriafen in foul trouble and the game tied, my optimism has faded. Let's hope we can get out of the third quarter with no more fouls on those two and without giving up the lead.

After scoring 25 points in the 2nd Q, we only have 8 over half way through the 3rd Q.

She got too aggressive trying to create space, put a shoulder through the defender, but it was honestly a weak call. Team has struggled since Kiki took over for Brink in the third...
