Very much deserved.  F-ing idiot.

Thanks Patterson.  You just gave them 7 you dumbass.

RE: FB -- Hawaii Game Thread - lex24 - 08-23-2025

7 points  as a result of stupity and selfishness.

RE: FB -- Hawaii Game Thread - martyup - 08-23-2025

Another ball that Roush should have caught.

lex24 - lex24 - 08-23-2025

This team can’t afford crap like that

Nice ***** dance.  Chippendales awaits.

I hope the coaching staff rips him a new one. And if they lose this game by a couple of points, he can dance on that. Infreaking real.

I forget which Stanford player said this: "Why did he simplify the offense? We're supposed to outthink the other team."  Apparently no more.  Frankly, I'm a little disgusted.

RE: FB -- Hawaii Game Thread - PVTree - 08-23-2025

Defense playing ok. The offense moves the ball but can't put it in the end zone. I'm not feeling it with Gulbranson so far. He's playing like a dink n dunk quarterback, and we need to be able to throw it past 10 yards.

Disgusted with what? At least it’s a real offense.if you mean the Chippendales audition, agree.

Based on the very small sample of the first half does anyone see an improved team over the last three years? Can't say I do.

RE: FB -- Hawaii Game Thread - fullmetal - 08-23-2025

I wonder of that type of celebration is allowed at the FCS level.

O-line improved.
Secondary is missing two starters.

Only +4 imo.  I think HI would have had a FG anyway.

Additionally, our transfer center is injured.  Line is punching up.  Gulbranson needs to step up.  He's holding on way too long now (locking on?).  But at least no turnovers yet.  Hawai'i gifted us a non-TO early on.

RE: FB -- Hawaii Game Thread - PVTree - 08-23-2025

We got a TD off of their mistake, they got 7 (4?) off of ours. They also blocked a FG we should have made. Scores mostly nullify themselves.

RE: FB -- Hawaii Game Thread - Card10Fan - 08-23-2025

My halftime observation is the QB situation looks very shaky. Dude needs to step up in the second half. We are going to need to score points to win this game. Also too many penalties.

RE: FB -- Hawaii Game Thread - thunder_chik - 08-23-2025

Just lost the CBS feed, switched to the AZ Cardinals game.  What gives?

RE: FB -- Hawaii Game Thread - Lorcan - 08-23-2025

CBS Feed still working here, but maybe it should go out.

Darkly amusing how that works out.

RE: FB -- Hawaii Game Thread - old spanish trail - 08-23-2025

Gulbranson looks hesitant and is not firing the ball. Announcers say there are open receivers down field which we can't see of course. From what we can see there isn't much speed. Defense is playing surprisingly good without Wright and Edwards, our best 2 dbs. DL not bad and Mattingly looks like a keeper.
And, our rb's are looking good.
PS: I always wondered why Jackson Davis didn't see more time with us.

Fire Reich!

Seriously, at least it’s not a HS scheme on offense. Gotta have talent. And not sure they have much. Offensively – they look pretty slow quite honestly.

I saw that blitz coming...
