I have good optimism we’re gonna win this game.
I have big pessimism for rest of season unless we can come out in 2nd half and run more than 100 yards. A 1 dimensional O will get crushed by the rest of schedule.

No we are not a great team, but let's not be hyperbolic. We are up 14-0, we are outgaining them 202-94, we have 13 first downs to their 7, we have 6.2 yards per play vs their 4.2. Given that this is Elon, we should be beating them much more soundly, but let's also not pretend that this is an even matchup.

But sure lets, "pretend" we are so much better.

Stanford put a curse on its opponents, and it's taking effect this week:

Duke - Lost to UNC
Ga. Tech - Lost to Virginia Tech
Miami - Tied in the 3rd quarter to FSU
ND - Losing at half to BYU 21-10

Would not be betting on Wake or Hawaii later tonight

This is the most irrelevant home game in the program's history.

The Utah game that drew 15,000 – the Saturday after the '89 Loma Prieta earthquake – was a bigger deal.

With a 2-4 record going into this game, I would say that this game is extremely relevant. It might represent a third of our wins this season.
