Alll Stanford so far this set. We are up 20-9, and it doesn’t even seem tha close.

Agree with compaci that the pumped in music is dreadful.

everything working for Stanford on that set.  The serves (I think only one service error), the block, the passing, the setting, and the hitting.

Easy to look good when your opponent isn’t. But still, lots to like about our own work.

Just hope we don’t succumb to the sophomore set swoon.

Notwithstanding the score, things seem a little more discombobulated than the first set, but when you are up 5, hard to pick nits.

Rubin is really good against weak blocking when she consistently swings away full force.  Pringle having a resurgence late in the season.  I hope it continues.

The subs looked to be pre-planned, unlike the UNC match where they were clearly dictated by match play.

Duke isn’t good at anything that I can see. How do they have 2 conference wins?

Duke is challenging again.  I think in the second set, Hambly thought about challenging a ball that didn’t look like it made it over the net but was ruled a Stanford block, and then he did the “never mind, not worth it gesture”.

Yeah, not much you can make out of this match; duke is catastrophically bad. On one point, we blocked three of their attacks, the last one for the point.  It was just comically bad on Dukes part.

I don’t know why etLer’s serve was giving Dukeso much trouble. She hits it with just enough spin that it probably doesn’t knuckle much but she doesn’t hit it with much pace.  And yet they could not corral it.
