Ayomanor was a total unknown, moving from Canada to play HS football at a small school in NJ as a sophomore then transferring to Deerfield as a junior. His junior season was cancelled so most of his (very real) offers were based on practice and scrimmage tape. He earned his ND and Stanford offers in person at their/our respective in-person summer camps.
6'3" 210 and runs a sub-11s 100m dash. Look for a significant ratings bump after he terrorizes bad competition as a senior. The ratings services literally haven't seen him play yet.
Assuming he does in fact commit, as an aside I like the little Canada-to-Stanford pipeline we'll have going. 2 guys from the previous class (Aaron Armitage and Brendon Barrow) and Ayomanor.

Cool, that was unexpected but welcome news. He felt a little like Donald Stewart to me until your note, but the speed gives him more upside than Stewart had.
Reuben seems like another who might pop during his senior year. His Twitter says he’s a 3 sport athlete, but I saw something indicating he just started playing football last year? If so, impressive ramp up.

Sorry if this was covered already, but is Rowell's rating held down because he didn't appear at recruiting service events? His offer list betrays a DL ranked a lot higher than #94 in the class.

I would not think Rowell lacked for exposure. He plays for a prominent CIF Div I program in a city with > 1 million people. But the COVID year could be an exception, as it is in so many other ways.

There you go being factual again. So, 16 current and 10 viable offers? With early enrollment now apparently an option, I guess there’s a work around to the limit of 25 new counters per year. Not sure that converting 100% of currently viable offers is realistic anyway. But I do think we can say that Shaw is open to a class that’s quite a bit larger than his average has been.

Speaking of recruits likely to put up gaudy stats in their senior year, Cody Hagen is primed for a Fehoko like senior year. U$C’s QB commit, Devin Brown, just transferred into Hagen’s school, and in the opening game, Hagen had 7 catches for 167 and 4 TDs.

Is Stanford changing quarterback styles with the recruitment of Patu and Daniels?
From what I can tell in the videos (and Spring game for Patu), these two are more in the mold of Hogan: adequate passers with great athleticism and ability to manage the game, than that of Chryst, Burns, Costello, Mills, McKee (traditional NFL prototype arms and size)
The more obvious explanation is that they couldn't land their preferred QB whale, but is there some sense in the shift towards QBs with a chance to become great college players if not high NFL future picks?

I hope and believe so. I never liked what I saw from Chryst, Burns or Costello coming out of HS. PPs with good size, arm strength, and straight line speed, but little in elusiveness and improvisational ability. Hogan had it in spades and it can't be overemphasized just how critical his ability to extend plays, allowing receivers more time to get open, and his knack for running for timely yardage and 1st Downs was. Would I take Kevin Hogan over Davis Mills? If I'm a NFL executive, No. If I'm the current Stanford HC or OC? Yes. A guy like Hogan added an additional playmaker to Stanford's offense, something that's been sorely missing since his departure. I applauded the decision not to offer the more highly touted QB, Miller Moss, because he strikes me as strictly a PP. I had the same reaction with the signing of Patu as he shows the instinctive ability to run and create when plays break down. He also has a super quick release. I haven't seen much of Daniels but I'm thinking he's shown the staff the same kind of ability.

I think the best combo is a good arm plus can run, like Luck. Chryst, KJ and Mills were all mobile prior to their leg injuries. I agree we've been missing that dimension from our QBs.

Agreed OutsiderFan.
I would add that we lost Deeter and Strickland to Purdue, but gained Cooper over Texas A&M and Ohio State--schools that he also visited--and Notre Dame, Alabama, LSU, Mississippi, Vanderbilt, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Nebraska, Penn State, Texas, Texas Tech, TCU, Baylor, Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, and, oh yeah, USC (Satan's Children, not South Carolina).
Great work by the coaching staff.
On an unrelated note, Cooper's high school, Martin High School in Arlington, TX was also home to the founding members of Pentatonix.

This is an enormous win for Stanford. Some folks in the know were pessimistic just a couple of weeks ago and an early CBall for Stanford switched to TAMU. Really looking forward to watching him play.

I note his dad is his high school coach and is himself a former NFL RB. Also, Arlen has a younger brother Ayden, who’s an excellent DB/RB. I hope Ayden has good grades and follows Arlen to Stanford.
