Not a question, just an observation…
Traditional basketball powers, Duke, UNC, Kansas and Kentucky are all ranked in this week’s AP Football Poll. This is the first time all of those teams have been ranked at the same time since the AP Poll was established in 1936.

No idea on either.
Two former Giants managers are coaching against each other in the 2023 World Series, Dusty Baker of the Astros against Bruce Bochy of the Rangers. If the Rangers win, it will be Bochy's fourth World Series victory.
Both managers are candidates for the Hall of Fame. Today, there are 24 managers in Cooperstown. How many of them were elected via the Veterans Committee, versus the traditional vote by baseball writers?

Hobie died in April age 93. He lived near me in Sunnyvale and his son not far away from my now Roseville home.
Well I missed that Phogge told me Giant not SF Giant. Billy Gardner player for the NY Giants 1954-55
The Stanford grad is famous for a great trivia question that we have posted before.
