Some good guesses, but the answers are somewhat obscure:
Quarterbacks with the most Hail Mary TD completions:
Aaron Rodgers: 4
Steve Bartkowski: 2
Tim Couch: 2
Andy Dalton: 2
Like really, Tim Couch? The dude played 62 games over 5 seasons and completed a Hail Mary in two of them? He holds the distinction of being the only QB to complete a pass of more than 50 yards as time expired in a game twice.
Receivers with the most Hail Mary TD receptions:
A.J. Green: 2
Richard Rodgers: 2
Likewise, Rodgers has 145 career receptions, and two of them were Hail Mary's, including the longest game-winning, game-ending touchdown in NFL history (61 yards), thrown by Aaron Rogers.

Term was first used in the huddle by Notre Dame players vs. Georgia Tech in 1922 when they literally said the prayer. It succeeded 2x in a row, both from the 6 yard line. Elmer Layden was in that huddle, brought it up with reporters when he was coaching in 1935. Georgetown used it in 1941 Orange Bowl.
Then it was popularized by Roger Staubach, a Catholic, in a 1963 game vs. Michigan. He used the term and used it again 12 years later when he and Drew Pearson connected late in a game and it caught on.

I think you answered the wrong question. It was which quarterbacks and receivers had more than one completed HM, not who had the first one.

The first NCAA men's basketball tournament was played with eight teams in 1938-39. The Final Four and championship game were played at Northwestern.
Three questions:
1) Which team won the tournament? They wouldn't make another Final Four for 78 years, setting a record.
2) The 1939 NCAA Tournament featured a third-place game, not held at Northwestern. Where on the West Coast was it held?
3) Bonus points if you can name the eight teams who participated. Today, they are in these conferences: Big 10 (2), SEC (2), ACC, Mountain West, Ivy, Big East. All but one were either independent or in different conferences at the time.

One other LA Dodger (boo) streak related trivia. In the middle of the 33 inning scoreless strek, the Dodgers retired 28 consecutive batters (basically a perfect game), but they do not hold the record for most consecutive batters retired in the post season. Which two teams retired more consecutive batters (31 and 29 consecutive innings)?

The third-place game took place on Treasure Island, between Utah State and Texas. Interestingly, neither of those teams would have qualified for a true third-place game, as both lost their first-round games, to Oklahoma and Oregon respectively.
The eight participants were Oregon, Texas, Oklahoma, Utah State (West regional, played on Treasure Island in SF Bay) and Villanova, Brown, Wake Forest and Ohio State (East regional, played in Philadelphia). Brown and Villanova were Independents at the time, Oregon was in the PCC, Oklahoma was in the Big Six, Utah State was in the Mountain States conference and Texas was in the Southwest conference.

Right, Sam. Oregon wouldn't return to the Final Four until the 2016/17 season.
There are a number of schools who had a single appearance in the Final Four in the early days who are unlikely to return, including Duquesne (1940), Wyoming (1943), Iowa State (1944) and Santa Clara (1952).

The Dodgers matched the 1966 Orioles for the longest scoreless streak ever in a single postseason at 33 innings.
The overall consecutive scoreless innings streak:
NL - 56 - Pittsburgh, June 1 to June 9, 1903.
AL - 54 - Baltimore, September 1 to September 7, 1974.
The Yankees own the record for consecutive batters retired in the playoffs. The 2004 Yanks retired 29 in a row between ALDS Game 4 against the Twins and ALCS Game 1 against the Red Sox, and the 1956 Yankees retired 31 consecutive Brooklyn Dodgers from Games 4-6 of the World Series -- including the 27 consecutive batters retired in Don Larsen’s perfect game in Game 5. (Editors note, I am surprised one of you didn’t guess it on that basis).
I feel like Phogge would have gotten these.

That was my guess also but the pitch that killed Chapman was not seen my Chapman or the ump. Before the same ball was used the whole game when possible. After this they would use a clean new ball periodically
